One element not mentioned is that of grip which plays a huge role in trying to keep the face square. The players who have bowed wrists tend to have a weak lead hand grip. A string lead hand grip plus bowed/ flat wrist causes massive shut face.

Great explanation for a simple problem that is difficult to understand. when you can make a video on how to train your tempo and not slow down on contact with the ball

Awesome video. Thank you for this as it resonated with me massively. I’ve just come back to golf after a 16 year absence. So my last lesson was in the 90s and have the fault you described it hitting it left due to the change in face angle. Thank you for explaining this as it will help me to rectify the issue as the impact feels super pure and can’t wait to get it more on target.

Awesome video! I've been trying to address this problem but confused on which hand primarily dictates the closing of the face? I know they're both reactionary, so if I use the right hand, that will cause the left to bow naturally & vice versa. But should I be using the left or the right primarily? and the other hand will follow naturally.

Hi mate, great video - would You suggest having a stronger grip to make sure the club is closed?

It can really help square the clubface off with minimal compensations at strike 👍
