We all know that if anything gets nerfed its going to be wavedashing. Poseidon dash is so strong. Once people start getting good enough to avoid damage instead of using Athena dash they start to really see how broken tidal dash is. I beat 32 heat with it and hardly used my weapon at all.

Here is the proble, Haelian: You never took a "strike". Taking a "leftmost" boon on the grid, makes it much less likely for that boon to show up. Every time you get a boon, they keep offering you a "strike", and being that you don't take it, they keep offering it. I am not a pro at this game, but I am a pro-level boon-hunter.

Its best to think in percentages when choosing upgrades. Going from 10 to 12 dmg per tick is adding 20% more dmg output. Adding 1s to 6.8s is roughly 15% increase in dmg output.

I just finished my first run with it. Obviously not like this. I just had regenerating cast, got a chaos boon that let me put two of them down, got that chill and time lengthen ability. And decreased my cooldown with Hermes. I didn't even bothered putting any boon on attack or special. Just had Athena's dash. I just kept hiding behind the pillars and putting the crystals down every chance I got. Thought it seemed pretty broken

As a beginner player, beams are basically my dps in Hades fight since I'm not good enough to not be anything but defensive with him. I've beat Hades 5 times and every one of them had Stubborn Roots, Crystal Beams, and dash deflect. It carries so hard.

FINALLY beat Hades after close to 70 runs between my Switch and Steam, namely because of the inspiration from this video to use the crystal beam + glacial glare combo. First weapon to escape with was the bow. Thanks for the inspiration!

Just stop playing with a crontroller, take off aim assist and see how much room-cleaning it does (like the gun with the 5 special hammer)... Give it the same chaos and Demeter/zeus duos and this cast is just amazing...

Hilarious thing is he's actually pretty inefficient with his placements. If he spammed them throughout the map there's more of a chance at least one beam will always be hitting something since even the duo boon it's good enough to just all drop in one spot

this inspired me to do my own crystal beam meme run. 2nd attempt I got 3 duos (Stubborn roots didn't even activate because pop pop didn't touch me) crystal clarity of course, deadly reversal. Fully loaded along with a chaos cast and auto reload. Plus an extra dash. Literally all I did was dash around in a circle placing beams and didn't even see where hades was. 10/10 would do again

i dunno if everyone knows this but, in one of my runs i was fighting the tiny vermin, and after its vermin summons I just stood around that hole area, and the its AI couldn't track to me and come to a melee range (the tiny vermin was on the other side of the hole area and just stood there). I think it might be helpful for anyone who wanna cheese that fight.

Just FYI not that you needed it but arctic blast is basically extra 50 dps in AOE per beam if common (100 per blast, 1 beam does one stack every 0.2 seconds... If there are no internal cooldowns) i hope you do a run like this WITH the arctic blast sometimes

Did this run with a doom laser rail, and the artemis duo boon with demeter. Also got the artemis legendary with +2 casts. Also pommed my beam time a bunch, and got a beam timer extension along with "does more damage to distant enemies". I barely got hit . Most OP build so far. Gonna try it on 32 heat

You have 20:00 minutes total to beat dad now with max Deadline, it was a little more lenient before where you could just get an easy Elysium to skate through. Still a good change overall, only becomes troublesome at 45+ where you might want to consider turning it down.

I have a few questions about this run. How come he chooses the poseidon sword when the whole mechanic is to to knock the blood out of enemies, something you never do with demeter's cast? At 11:30 when he gets the hermes boon, it's like he knows there's a fish without even having seen it. How did he do that? Anyway, great work dude, I've recently been too sick to play the game myself and this has been keeping my spirits up.

The fish noise plays but is muffled by my talking/other sound effects in the video. Poseidon is still a good option because it gives you 50% more cast damage passively. Achilles might be a bit more interesting but is tougher to use well.

Stygian soul is an alternate mirror upgrade that gives your cast a cooldown instead of having to get it back. Glacial Glare is a boon with crystal beam that makes them last significantly longer

On the left side of the mirror, there is a button to switch between purple and green on every option. It's the one that customarily gives you extra crystals, of which the green option will instead give you a recharging crystal
