Great analysis. I think it is worth noting that Skull Knight is so far the only KNOWN being capable of destroying Behelits (via the Sword of Actuation). This is actually an impressive feat. Since these artifacts were the main method the Godhand had of interacting with the physical world, it makes a lot of sense to destroy Behelits. By destroying them, SK is directly limiting the power of Behelits to twist fate in the Godhand's favor. This is potentially less useful after the Roar of the Astral World, but still, it was a strategy that could have born fruit.

So actually…the lost chapter IS canon. He left it out because he stated he didn’t want that part in the story THAT early on, he never said it wasn’t canon. He admitted later that the idea of evil exists and it did speak with Griffith. So…it is canon, but in away that means none of the protagonist are suppose to know if its existence…yet.

The Idea of Evil is just the collective subconscious of the world, so it spawns beings that serve the humanity, even if in a way most would call immoral, but isnt that how it is in our own world too :) the power, corruption and greed amongst the top of society has always been known ^
