"Creation, destruction, choice and knowledge were the ideals upon which Humanity was made." I think the 'Ever After' was made after the Gods left Remnant and the ideals were turned on their head. You no longer have choice, you have purpose, you can destroy, so long as you build something new, you have your role you need to play, and your role changes when you change. I also think that the Ever After was made in a way, so they can easily corner off one 'Acre' and prevent any uprisings, they can easily remove an 'Acre' and replace it. Everything is organised and they have different environment for different kinds of experiments. The Jabberwalker seems to be inspired by the Grimm, but improved version, like the Grimm were a test phase.

It seems like a pure creation of the God of Light. It has no destruction or choice, only knowledge and creation. Destruction and choice are like foreign elements the Ever After, brought by people from the outside. And any time those elements come into play, the Cat arrives to defuse the situation.
@calxiyn Жыл бұрын
I’d argue it has destruction to an extent - the Red Prince literally beheads his own soldiers, and the cat didn’t stop that lol. With choice it’s that you can CHOOSE to do something different but it has consequences. I think the cat has a bit of a separate agenda.

@@calxiyn I don't think that beings from Ever After die. The Cat only interfered when the King was about to behead humans, as humans can permanently be killed while beings from the Ever After would only be broken and need to be fixed to continue serving their purpose.

This reminds me of Ever After High and they had to sign the book. The kids had to literally follow in their parent's footsteps. However, Raven Queen, the daughter of the Evil Queen, didn't want to be evil. But one of the Brother's Grimm wanted her to follow the original storyline because she would be going against her purpose.

regarding the gods attitude to humans and remnant 'im going to quote brennan lee mulligan as asmodeus in exu calamity : "you (mortals) are not our children you are.....a bad first draft" also the gods kidnapping some random ass girl as an experiment totally fits with their previous behaviour, even the curious cat thinks they're kinda dicks.

I thought of a theory that maybe Little is actually Alyx's final time around in the Ever After, and team RWBY and Jaune will help her get home as she will them.
@HighPriestFuneral Жыл бұрын
This... is a really good theory. One of the best that you two have made! I had always been a bit skeptical of the Gods being here, but there's some circumstantial evidence for this sort of concept. Fine work, you two!

I don't know if all the details are correct, but I think the spirit of this theory is correct. "Happily Ever After" as an ending for fairy tales does sound like propaganda if the Ever After is a real place. I do want the ending of this show to be team RWBY etc giving the middle finger to the Brothers and telling them Remnant doesn't need them.

Honestly I wouldn’t put it past the gods to do something like this. I wonder if team RWBY will have to make a sacrifice in order to leave or have a burden placed upon them to save Remnant. Agency needs to be placed on all four girls along with some power up.

Remember the first bridge they crossed with Little? That was also split into two halves, but it wasn't a light and darkness situation. It was transitional between the Jungle Acre and the heavily populated Crimson Acre. My point is, these bridges are just split in half to indicate that you're going from one Acre to the next. I don't think there's a connection with the god brothers here. The bridges are definitely aesthetic.
@calxiyn Жыл бұрын
Oh I know what you mean. I just mean the bridges, even the one in between the Crimson Acre and the Mushroom swamp look very suspicious LOL.

I think the Ever After might actually be the Place that we once saw in a certain Episode that told us that Salem was Immortal now It probably is a Locked off area that they Controlled they used their power to keep it hidden

I also would love if the god of light notice ruby’s eyes and say a quote similar to ozpin “you have silver eyes” or says something about silver eye warrior being a myth or if something he thought of creating to defeat the his brothers creation of grim Imagine if her silver eyes were a part of the brother of light power. Because I remember in volume 6 where we see ozpin/Ozama past lives and he had a family where their children eyes were silver *we still don’t know where the silver eye warrior came from or how their power came from*

This video made me think of what role the curious cat plays not only in the ever after but also in the volume. Like, he's been to the tree already and if that's where the gods are then the cat should know who they are. What if he knows them already and when team rwby told him of the history of remnant he indirectly made fun of how they are. It's very sus to me that the cat seems to be the only being in the ever after not to have a purpose/role either...unless it's for him to make sure the new rules for this world are maintained? I don't know what I'm cooking here but you guys's theory seems to be very plausible to me.
@kingraplhmativo5178 Жыл бұрын
What if the curious cat was the real villain? He always uses his mysterious emotions/heart magic of sprite purple & cyan particles. He also comes at the right time to interrupt things to "save" the team RWBY, but in reality, he accumulates their trust. Edit: Btw, he is my favorite character, what about yours?

Adjacent crack theory: In The Lost Fable, it's never mentioned where the faunus come from. They've just kind of appeared when Ozma is reincarnated for the first time. What if Alyx, in some way, is the genesis of the faunus. Maybe she was transformed in the ever after and did make it back to Remnant but didn't fully revert back to a human in the process. The same might have happened to her companion and they became the "Adam and Eve" of the faunus. I think this would be interesting for Blake, discovering that the fairy tale she loved as a kid turns out go be the origin story of her people. Even BIGGER crack theory. Ruby loses herself in the ever after, gets transformed, her mentally stable teammates manage to get her out. BOOM! Ruby becomes a faunus.
@murrayoversby5609 Жыл бұрын
A wolf faunus, obviously. It's only fitting that little red riding hood becomes the big bad wolf🙂
