Anne Rice's sister, Alice Borchardt (who passed away in 2007) wrote the Silver Wolf trilogy, which had a different take on the werewolf legend. I recommend the said books, they're fascinating.

I loved this video. May I ask for a longer in-depth look at the different wolf identities depending on the generation? From the mold spores causing whole villages to be affected, to the concept of Van Hellsing. I just want more more more....LOL Thanks and Hugs from Esquimalt

I dig the music in the background! It's perfectly in the background, not taking over the voice & info. & It's good music to add to the effects of the stories ! I'm a sound engineer! Sound is most important. Kudo's! Most folks can't get the music right whether it's volume or the wrong music for the info. This combo is 👌🏼

In the Volsunga Saga, there are two versions of the Werewolf, the Wolf pelts you mentioned, that was commonly used by the Úlfheðnar, and a witch who used Troll magic to shape shift into a Hun-Ulv (shewolf), to systematically kill off memberes Sigurds family.

I’m from Hawaii and there is a half man half boar pig man. Named Kamapua’a. He Roams in the mountains where I live. Lots of hunters and other people seen him with they own eyes. It’s a big boar a big big boar that is super fast and can run straight up mountain walls and will turn into a man a tall dark Hawaiian man. It’s a legend and spirit that still is around today. Sacred falls in Oahu Hawaii is where he lives and a tragedy happened on sacred falls on Mother’s Day in the 90’s. Females are not allowed there in the old days. So were wolfs I do believe bcz in Hawaii we have a half boar half man that exists til today. A Spirit I think a well known spirit

The movie "Brotherhood of the Wolf" was based on the mystery of The Beast of Gevaudan; the 2019 movie "The Cursed" took a different angle on the werewolf legend: the Beast of Gevaudan attacks were said to be the result of a gypsy curse.

Some men have features that seem wolf like. Stripes of dark or grey in their beards, hair flowing back and lanky like a wolf. Cross that with how some people act during a full moon and them lit by moonlight. That's where the myth begins. Other look unnatural during moonlight as well.
