"The first victim of the outbreak of war is the truth" For a whole year, NATO has been fighting in Ukraine against Russia. Tens of billions of dollars have been spent. Stocks of weapons and ammunition, according to statements by Western politicians, are running out. And weak Russia move forward. It's funny.

4:25 Ever notice that whenever you see a lot of russian flags, they're all brand new, the exact same size, the exact same shades of the colours, and are all on the exact same poles, which appear to be made from 20mm PVC pipe. What are the odds of people all bringing identical flags in identical condition, from home?

On their “aircraft carrier” since that video it has caught fire once again. It’s not just propulsion and flammability issues either. It doesn’t have basic things like hot running water and flushing toilets. It’s a barely floating ship wreck.
@CorporalCookie
@CorporalCookie Жыл бұрын
Watched a video on the history of that ship. It was built in Ukraine of all places, iirc. And part of the problem with it was that Russia decided to build the ship, without ever putting the necessary infrastructure for its maintanence up before it was ready and out and about. The current drydock its at had to be made by combining two smaller ones that had existed there before, because there wasnt a drydock large enough to fit the ship.

We've never pretended to be second army in the world. We've never had such military budgets. And pro-russian politicians did everything in their power to weaken our military forces. So yes, our army has flaws, it's naive to think otherwise. Now, solders pay blood price every day, so the army becomes better as well by learning and getting experience over war time..

I have this Jewish friend, who had spent his 2 obligatory years in a Russian (then Soviet) nuclear strategic garrison far in the South. They had an "unexpected inspection" visit from a big potato from the Moscow General Staff HQ. It was a genuine surprise (unlike ordinary "unexpected inspections" everyone knew about a month beforehand). When he popped up in the middle of a winter night, demanded the general alert signal & beat to quarters - he was summarily ridiculed & subjected to rude language. An hour later the garrison officers managed to gather about the half of the sleepy soldiers & lined them up on the field, so the boss could swear & yell all he liked. That was a garrison of the Soviet nuclear strategic force, the Terror of the World, lemme remind you. Count in the time of the "response" & "retaliation", please. Let's talk about the state of today Russian regular army now, "the 2nd strongest army in the world"...

Close to me, there exists a canon of about 13 metric tons from the 15th century, presumably has fired only once (stone boulders of 250 kg) and was merely there to scare the opposite side. Dude... if you think the orc billboards in Kherson were bad, you should see what they're doing in Mariupol. Convincing Zelensky to surrender that city to the Ruzzians was the most epic blunder the UN's ever made, I think. An even bigger dupe than the Srebrenica massacre (that's the one where Serbian soldiers stole the uniforms from Dutch peacekeepers and used them to round up and slaughter over 500 unarmed people in case you don't remember.) The Ruzzians have trucks set up with digital billboards driving around just spewing Z propaganda. They're telling surviving Mariupol residents that Ukraine lost the war and it's nothing but Z World, now. They built a wall around the theatre, where it's estimated that around 600 people died. They left them all in there to rot until just recently, when they started bulldozing the theatre, to turn it into some Ruzzian military admin building. The cemetery has exploded with numbered mass graves. At least somebody's burying them and putting flowers on the graves. It is estimated that there are more than 9 000 people buried there. The Ruzzians are also forcing hundreds of thousands of deportations on Mariupol residents with children. I know there's more. The horrors they will probably unearth when the Ukrainians take back that city will make Bucha look like a Sunday picnic :(

The soldier at 7:49 is complaining that he's been issued that body armour and is on the way to the front. On the label it states that it's only for use when playing Airsoft. Apparently the soldiers are being sent to the front without weapons, a rifle costs two cartons of cigarettes. They are also just being dropped and told to get on with it, no food or water rations are left with them. One intercepted phone call the guy was complaining about where his unit was dropped. There were contract soldiers already dug in who told them to occupy the forward trenches. They were shelled and mortared, as well as hit by drone munitions. The company was reduced to 15 survivors in days. The contract soldiers knew when food was being delivered and wouldn't share it, though neither group got water. They could get vodka easier than water.

A possible clue might be the recent attempts by the Chinese Air Force to secure the services of former RAF pilots to help hone their flying and combat skills. It seems they felt they perhaps weren't quite as good as Western pilots? The issue they appear to have is that, along with their army, their training is very formal and scripted. It seems to be designed to impress senior commanders rather than provide a potential edge in combat.

I don't know if anybody else has mentioned the type of submarine you enquired about, it's a ballistic missile submarine NATO code name Typhoon . The displacement is just short of about 75,000 T it Carrie's 20 ICBMs each having up to 10 warheads on a Multiple Independent Re-Entry vehicle. Thank the gods the 6 that were built have all been decommissioned.

There are situations where you'd prefer not to have the steel yeah. Though I don't know how relevant that is in the modern age, I remember learning in school... I forget which battle it was, but heavily armoured troops engaged a force clad in leather on a bog, subsequently got stuck when they fell down, and well and truly routed. Pretty sure it was an England and France thing, or just two separate British Isles kingdoms at the time. Probably wouldn't happen with modern armoured plating to be fair.
@Chris-mf1rm
@Chris-mf1rm Жыл бұрын
Both. There were medieval battles involving England v France and England v Scotland that this happened. 1415 at Agincourt in northern France the French armoured knights got bogged down while the nimble English archers finished them off (the battle in Shakespeare's Henry V). I think the one v Scotland was Banockburn where the Scots did a similar thing to the English knights.

There are several legends of airborne troops ( U.S. or U.K.) being stuck or even drowning to death in the mud on landing, during the allied invasion of mainland Europe in the II World War. None of these stories have been proved to be true, though, despite a keen interest in the area by historians from especially Germany, The Netherlands (where this was mostly said to have happened), and the U.S.

You paused a while on the submarine, it´s a Typhoon-class cold war sub with nucelar capabilities. It´s sole purpose was to emerge from under the ice on the northern hemisphere and launch nukes on the U.S. A true doomsday device with standing orders to launch if Russia was atttacked. They are decomissioned now but are the biggest submarine vehicles ever built. You really should check out some videos about them here on KZbin. The movie Hunt for Red October is centered around one of theere submarines.

Some people argued with me that i was underestimating the Russian army as far back as 2010 and that i did not know what i was talking about; needless to say they were terribly wrong and made a buffoon out of themselves Even as a nobody on the internet i have obsessively studied Putin's Russia, geopolitics and warfare for more than 20 years and unless you have a similar kind of insight you will be wrong about something before i am If you are going to argue against someone who know their shit, please guys do me a favor: do not rely on paper data as it is almost completely meaningless in a realistic comparison, use proper equations and accurate calculations based on existing scenarios or dont bother arguing at all because it becomes an opinion and your opinion is always biased making you a wannabe expert instead of an actual expert Finally the biggest difference between Russia and the west is always in the mentality Russia: why invest in war if one looks unlikely? West: if you want peace, be ready for war This video's creator was flawless in his evaluation of Russian armed forces
