I grew up in Bridgeport, CT which is near where the Warrens lived. Having always been obsessed with the occult and hauntings, I used to go to their lectures all the time. On one occasion, I went to a lecture at their home, and actually toured their museum. What a great opportunity. I saw Annabelle sitting in her glass case, and I gave her a very wide berth when I walked by. The air in the museum is noticeably colder than anywhere else, and I said a prayer of protection and blessed myself before entering and after leaving the museum. I was very grateful that nothing followed me home that night!

yea they tried way too hard to make her look scary, I think they should of used an original raggedy ann, same for chucky, if they used the generic good guy doll instead of making it look more sinister, like porceline dolls are more scary than them, and my grandma tried giving me a hobo clown doll when I was a kid, that was more terrifying than any horror movie character

You're right, something about a perfectly normal doll that you've owned or could buy being possessed is infinitely scarier than something that's obviously scary enough to invoke "why would I buy that as a display piece let alone as a toy for my child" thoughts. Oh wait I explained what the something is. It's that simple.

Ok story time. Im friends with Aron Houdini and this past halloween we had the opportunity to meet Annabelle. He managed all the paperwork and did all the safety measures the Museum required. So, she was locked in her box, covered in a blanket and locked in a closet. The next day when he went to check on her, the entire closet was trashed, shelves ripped off the wall, clothes and shoes everywhere, racks knocked over. And her just sitting there in her box. It was a crazy cool opportunity to see the real doll and the movie prop doll. And Ed Warrens Demon Fighting kit is awesome too. Crucifix and holy water etc. Ok thanks if you read this much ❤

I thought the real Annabelle was in the Warren's museum, locked in a box with holy objects all over it, blessed by priests, behind a glass. A video was on YT by Tony Spera of the doll and people were warned not to stare at it, even over the internet. I looked at it briefly, only once, and that was enough. Tony is Ed and Lorraine's son-in-law and Ed left Tony in charge of his museum after his death. I found it very interesting and informative. Others may not.

My names Annie & that's prob some ish my exs would say :/. Wever, it's the 1 yr anniversary 🎉. The only thing I'm posting up is single, if that. I don't think I liked dolls since I was a kid. At least not any creepy looking ones. I remember 1 that was literally for the streets 😅. It was in the street & it blinked by itself. I remember having a friend where her mom loved those porcelain dolls. & Even though their basement was cool, she had her collection down there too. I was not about to sleep down there if she wasn't down there w/ me. Fast forward & I saw a porcelain doll at a thrift store. My munchkin wanted to talk her head off & by interaction I just got it. Well, it was free. They said it was creepy. It was. It didn't take long for my baby to break it. But I know I woke up & it looked like a kid played w/ my shoes vibes. Only my closest was closed & my baby's too little to be fascinated w/ my shoes right now. Something else but I already forgot. It took me a whole 2/3 days to take it to the dumpster. I live in an apt so I know someone picked it up & when it's pick up time. That was not pick up day when I saw her gone. Unless she walked off by herself :/.but I left it only by the dumpster, on the outside of it. Ppl somexs actually really love those things. I thought most ppl like me, was creeped out by them. But for a short bit I thought yessss! Now she can pull her hair. Bc it's so realistic & everything. That was short lived

In my own personal experience, I agree. Certified Jesus freak here, and I believe we go to heaven or a layer of hell when we die. “Ghosts”, I think, are actually demons trying to emotionally manipulate you. They’ll pretend to be your loved ones to mess with your heart and mind, never allowing you to truly move on. They’ll pretend to be helpless children to get you to lower your guard while they negatively affect your life. They’ll pretend to be some poltergeist destroying your home and disturbing your peace. They WILL feed off of your fear, your hurt, your anger, and depression. Demons HATE humans - every single person on this Earth, and they want humanity to suffer eternally in hell alongside them. Some demon or something was trying to scare me in my room, once. Watched my pocket door slide halfway open on its own. Figured it was my cat at first, but he was curled up right beside me! I’m a big ol’ baby when it comes to horror, so I surprised myself by NOT being afraid. In fact, I actually rolled my eyes and just turned on my other side! Denounced the demon in Jesus’ name and slept soundly.

I cannot abide creepy dolls.. 😳 Storytime: When I was a kid, I had this ‘Lil Orphan Annie’ doll, and I just loathed that thing.. the eyes and smile were just too unsettling for words.. so one day, I decided I’d had enough of it lurking around so I wrapped it in paper towels, doused it in WD-40 and lit that B up.. 🔥🔥🔥 then I buried the melted remains.. afterwards I felt a huge relief! 🧘🏻♀️ But ofc my younger sister told my mother what I did, and she proceeded to go all Mommie Dearest on me.. She yelled at me to go dig it up and bring it to her.. when I did, she threw the dirt covered melted plastic mess on a plate, pointed a huge knife at me and screamed at me to “EAT ITTTT!!!!!” 👹 When I refused, she threw me against the wall and busted my lip, but in the end, it was worth it, and I still stand by my actions! There was something seriously off about that doll, and it needed to be dealt with- I’m glad I destroyed it 🔥 The End ✌️🤓

When I was a young girl, I lost a raggedy ann doll while getting on the bus with my mom. Years later, in my 20s, someone whom I thought at the time was a friend gave me a set of raggedy ann & andy dolls. Something just was off - it didn't feel right. A few years later I found out that this person who had given me the dolls was definitely not a friend & also wished me harm. I never really was able to bring myself to display the dolls, & after learning of this person's intent I decided to get rid of the dolls - I donated them to goodwill, that was the best option at the time. After watching this video, I wonder if something really was attached to the dolls - possibly just a curse & not a demon? Idk, whatever it was, it seems like I should've let the "past doll" rest in the past & not welcomed in the new pair later in life. I'm curious though, has anyone else had strange or odd experiences with dolls? How did you deal with it/them?

Finally decided to move it to my cottage, but I still felt this strange presence, Finally threw it in the garbage can, after it was taken away, everything got back to normal. Never again. When I was a child, I used to see things in my bedroom. One day I was so scared I asked my grandmother to help me (she had died years earlier), she appeared and told me not to worry. After that day I never had problems, so you can bet I believe in the supernatural.

If yu thought the dolls were possessed why would you give them away to the public?
@alifetime3609 ай бұрын
@TheOne-uv4nz I did not say that I thought the dolls were possessed. Please re-read my first comment if you're unsure. Also, in my second comment (responding to someone else's question), I stated, "After getting rid of them, I started to wonder..." I did mention finding out the intent of the person who gave me the dolls; that is not something I want to put here in a comments section on KZbin. With that being said, I'm sure I'm not the only human in existence who wanted to get rid of things a toxic or abusive person gave them.

I'm an older woman but I've never liked dolls. My mom would always try to buy me them when I was really little but I wouldn't play with them. I'd play with my stuffed animals instead so they finally stopped. Very creepy toys in my opinion 😅 My mom had a room full of raggedy Ann dolls till I had her watch the movie. Then she got rid of all of them lol.

having the entity move into the doll was a good move cause you can then destroy it. when Jesus was talking to a possessed man who had many demons in him "Legion", the demons asked permission to possess a nearby herd of pigs instead. when Jesus gave them permission, they went into the pigs who then stampeded into a nearby lake and drowned, freeing the man and destroying the demons.

I’m not completely convinced that the boyfriend Cal wasn’t pranking the women on a couple of occasions. Like the notes being left around the apartment…I highly doubt a ghost would write out notes, especially the one saying “Help Cal.” Really?? Cal definitely was behind that one.

When going through my grandmother’s things, we found this life-sized porcelain doll, literally the size of a young girl. It wasn’t particularly creepy-looking, and I’ve never been afraid of dolls, but it did have long, tangled, dusty human hair. My dad (a pretty level-headed guy who doesn’t believe in the paranormal or the like) and I were exhausted after a day of clearing out my grandmother’s hoard and decided that the idea of keeping that doll in our garage for months was not the most attractive one so we chucked her into the garbage. I feel a little guilty but it was just a bit… weird. We did joke about it running alongside the truck at night and jumping onto the hood screeching my grandmother’s name, lol. Scared my sister pretty good 😂

Dolls that resemble living creatures are places that demons like. However, in this case specifically for the "Annabelle" doll, the demons that enter are strong demons. Plus the people around the doll are weak people. All Rageddy Anne dolls are among those that demons like, including yours. There are many demons, and like humans, they exchange information and news..they also haunt all the Annabelle dolls. It's just a matter of time. I hope that someday, you will reply to this message and tell me what happened to your doll.😊

Not exactly a story to listen to while in a room with Japanese dolls in it, but then again, evil seems to fear cats. Yes, I also sleep with 2 cats and a Chihuahua, not to mention the fact that I have several cat-spirits from past beloved pets watching over me. So, while this story is unsettling, I feel protected by my loving pets, both present and past.

The real doll for s creepier with the smile and facial design than the cartoonish doll in the movie, they tried too hard with the forced face. Also there are no spirits, demons pretend to be spirits of the dead and fool people.

I don't really understand... why such a powerful entity needs human permisson to stay?
@makima29839 ай бұрын
I think it's like a demon rule, like how the vampires can't come into your house if you don't invite them.
@inthejcurve79687 ай бұрын
@ suchasweetpie “Why evil entities need our permission to stay” To my knowledge, all humans first existed in the spiritual dimension, then come to this physical world as humans. While here we are no longer ‘with’ God, but we are still covered with His protection…meaning that evil things can access us but in small ways. Yet, we humans have free will and choice, and can choose to court evil entities. Should someone decide to do this, an evil entity may accept this invitation, and come into that persons life. Therefore, if we align our will with the will of God, selflessness, and altruism we will encourage good entities to come our way. Yet if we align our will away from God, toward selfishness, and malice the evil entities will come our way.

Idk. I think the "they didn't start by getting money" thing doesn't prove they aren't con artists. Drug Dealers used to use "the first hit's free" to get their targets hooked. Then they start getting money. I think if anything, that just makes Ed seem that much more crafty as a con man and a performer. Assuming that's all that really happened.

@josepharden111127 күн бұрын
It was, actually a demon, from the Deciples Of Ram, as described in the holy text! It was in fact, Malthus, a Ram demon, who possessed a 7 year old girl named, Annabelle Higgins, and brought her back from the dead. And put her soul into a doll, as a act of Reincarnation, for nefarious purposes only! He preys, on people who are weak in body, and soul!

At 14:30 Ed Warren says they made the mistake of bringing in a medium making it worse? What a hypocritical load of crap, especially considering his wife has always highly admitted to being a medium herself. If you ask me, it's just like when you bring in another contractor, plumber, electrician or anyone else - they always bad mouth the job of the one that came before them to discredit them claiming that they can do better whenever it's always just subtle differences at best, but they always hope to get that customer's trust & business from then in. One medium isn't better than another, just different - and I don't trust many of them that take fat payments for their services anyways because then your just a small business owner more than a spiritual crusader.

I just love how you described Ed and Lorraine. Nowadays people are talking nonsense about them and I am like...... Well my cousin is possessed and I know people will call this mental illness but it's not. We all family members have witnessed so many things. Her condition is like Annalise Michelle. Now my aunt is saying she should die before her own death because there's no one to take care of her condition. She can't eat for 18 years. She's 44 years old. She was extremely beautiful like Ana de Armes. Now she's just a animated skeleton. She only sips tea. Just one cup of tea for whole day. She can't get it down. She's decaying. And people are so blind towards actual happenings. They're more into gossip and way to interested putting people's names into murky waters. Just like nowadays people are talking sh*t about Ed and Lorraine. Even talking about Ed's relationship with a 16 years old girl. Who knows what they were trying to hide. Maybe it was a family issue that Ed took the responsibility of it. People are desperate about lebeling anything. Just because these things don't happen to many people doesn't mean who witness and suffer these situations are wrong or they're fraud...... Have some faith at least and try to understand other's point of views. It can help many people. Just because people don't understand or misjudge and call it hoax that's when people stop talking and distance themselves and they can't get help..... No. I'm not saying you've to believe all supernatural things but understanding someone or listen to someone can be great help......
