The most important thing is that you never gave up and you kept pushing through. You've come some so much farther than anyone would have expected you to. Your success is no mistake, it's the path God has set for you (Don't know if you're deeply religious, and believe in a God, but I personally feel like it was divine intervention).

I am a podiatric physician and surgeon here in the Midwest of the United States. I am 66 and already happily mated, and I view your channel with my sons to teach them that they have options that give them both hope and opportunity to have a loving wife, to have a strong and lifelong marriage, and to build together with their wives strong, healthy, happy, well-adjusted, and successful families. You are more than good enough. I am not simping in saying this, as I have no agenda. It is my observations of you that you are intelligent, articulate, rational and reasonable, well-educated, respectful, and possessed of a grace and inner as well as an outer physical beauty and peacefulness almost entirely lacking in modern western women. Through your work, you introduce western men, including my sons, to many other women there in the Philippines who are possessed of similar traits, inner beauty as well as physical beauty, and grace. Thank you for your work, and for opening up to all of us. Never doubt that you are enough. You are a beautiful gem.

Retired expat psychiatrist living in the Philippines. Wow! What a video. You made me put back my psychoanalytic hat on… Didn’t think I’d be doing that here in the Philippines, but basically when we don’t learn good model behavior from our father and mother there are gaps in our personality as we grow up. It’s a fancy term called object relations theory and object constancy. What it means is we have a hard time having a strong positive sense of self as kids. Because we didn’t see it or experience it growing up. So we get our sense of self from external things like accomplishment and praise. And when people we trust or love criticize us we take it very personally. It’s hard to differentiate criticism of our actions from criticism of our character. And positive sense of self comes from external things like good grades in school or on a test or performance reviews at work or affection or affirmation from our partners.. it’s fleeting and not internally stable. But with enough life experiences particularly positive ones, that internal sense of self becomes stronger and we learn that it’s ok to be “good enough “ and we don’t need to please others or be perfect to be happy. Looks like you’re in the process of that “corrective emotional experience “ that “corrects” the ending to your story :) happy to see it..

You can’t ‘save’ them unless they voluntarily and completely cut off their mother. Otherwise you are marrying her mother as she does everything she says. I’m posting this as that ‘sympathy’ you have is what gets you completely fucked. As while these girls treat people who hate them like kings. Those who love and care about them they treat like pure garbage. So, as an example she shits all over Filipino men, while being super nice and sweet to us foreigners. They call it ‘inclusion’. It’s a way to emasculate the men who care about them. So if you start to love her, she will start absolutely torturing you. Ignoring you, starting arguments. Screaming at you. Use the kids as an excuse to hurt you further with court cases and lack of access. This ALL comes from their mother. Then when you are not there. She will tell the kids how shit you are. All while telling them they are worthless and screaming at them the same way. Starting the cycle all over again.

I was born the third child of prosperous tenant farmers who profited from the WWII years, but we lost everything in a flood that was triggered by an earthquake a few days after the planting season began. Our seeded fields, livestock, and equipment were under three feet of water, and we were left penniless. My parents migrated, found factory jobs, and raised five children. Of their five children, two became lawyers, two opened successful businesses, and one was a casualty of substance abuse. I appreciate everything you do. I feel you

My wife like you never gave up and worked hard. We met through mutual friends and yeah got married again. Been together for 16 years. Of all your videos, this one is my favorite. Telling your story not only reflects the strength and perseverance you possess, it also gives a voice to so many who grew up in similarly abusive situations. You've carried so much on your small shoulders for such a long time. I am incredibly proud of you for trusting your viewers, and even more proud of you for trusting yourself. Bravery doesn't feel like strength. It feels like uncertainty, distress, apprehension and fear. Brave people don't see themselves as brave. Because to consider oneself invincible is a sign of arrogance and entitlement. True bravery is hard work and hope. The greatest minds this planet has ever known all came from humble beginnings. Their greatness comes not only from what they've achieved, but what they also endured. Look at all you have accomplished in four years. You have achieved success by relying on your own knowledge and life experiences, and sharing them with others. You are committed to telling the truth as you understand it, even when it's not always what your viewers want to hear. You will not compromise your values or your integrity, and you treat everyone with respect. Your driving motivation is to help others, by protecting them from avoidable harm and danger. Your goal is to help make everyone happier, safer, and better informed. And for all that you generously provide, you ask for no money in return. Four year-old Pea is ridiculously proud of you. Know that you have honored her well. May success, happiness, and love be bestowed upon you both, and in overflowing abundance. You deserve nothing less.

I think many 'non native' English speakers do mostly speak better fluent English outside of the UK and Canada. They pronounce every syllable whereas people in the US and Australia specifically kind of bastardized the language for reasons of expediency. It was actually watching Filipinos speak English that impressed upon me the need to try and pronounce things properly again. As my grandmother said: everything has to matter or eventually nothing will.

Pea, your kindness and generosity towards others (including entire villages!) makes so much sense now after hearing your painful story!! You came up dirt-poor with your stomach screaming bloody murder at times and something deep inside you made you subconsciously promise to alleviate that same misery from other people's lives should you find yourself with the means to do so. Not everyone awakens to the sufferings of others while trapped in a dark place, but you're one of those souls that did. In Buddhism, we call this altruistic attitude a "Bodhisattva Spirit". A bodhisattva is one who postpones their own Parinirvana (the final cessation of the cycle of death and rebirth) in order to ease the suffering of others and lead them to enlightenment. You no doubt went through many previous lifetimes giving generously to those in need. Your last rebirth in a largely poor country was no accident, my dear. You were BORN to become known as the "Angel of the Bisayas", to use your energies, talents and good heart to dispense valuable advise and make the world a better place, starting in your own area. Your pay-it=forward determination, born of simple empathy, will one day manifest in blessings and help when you most need it. As a Buddhist, I know that this is the inevitable outcome.

Also, your video in Texas USA throwing the hatchet 🪓 “you’re a natural”! You are so genuine of a person that “you are a natural” at everything you apply yourself to doing! You should feel proud of yourself. All those trials and tough times in your life have made you the wonderful girl you are today! As a mature 61 yr old, now living in the Philippines as of last week, you brought tears to my eyes with this one. Although I was born and raised in the USA, I to have had some horrible childhood experiences that I have had to overcome. You’ve enlightened me with your “Sigma male” video. I lived most my entire life so neglected and alone, perfecting myself to be everything a woman would want in a man yet it has never been enough or maybe I became to much of a man that women are intimidated by me. Hopefully, I will see you around. I think I speak for many of your subcribers when I say, “I feel I already know you” yet, we’ve never met!❤ You’re an amazing woman! Hi Pea. I'm Robert. I came across your videos by pure accident, but I'm glad I did. My father raised me by himself my whole life. He never remarried until I was an adult. He always spoke so highly of the Philippines, the women and the culture. He passed away this past March. He was my hero and I lost a strong part of me when he left. Your videos have been a way to Remer him amd learn about a culture and place I'd love to see in person some day. As a child I grew up incredibly poor. Poor like no electricity no natural gas no hot water. No transportation and very little food. My dad washed our clothing in the bath tub with a tooth brush and a bar of ivory soap. You can imagine as a young boy and a teenager I was bullied ALOT. I was a angry and depressed child that hid his depression and channeled it in to not caring about school . I didn't apply myself as well as I should have or as much as my father wanted me to and it angered him alot. He would tell me that the retarded kids did better than me. So I grew up dealing with telling myself I wouldn't be anything. My teachers never stopped the bullying and some of them over the years participated in it as well. Art was my escape. Any art. From painting to sketching to illustration. It didn't matter as long as I could create something from nothing. Today I'm self employed as a professional artist and quite successful at it I might add. I just wanted to tell my story because I can relate to yours in many ways. Ali also just want to let you know that YOU ARE ENOUGH AND YOU WILL ALWAYS BE ENOUGH! We are not defined by our past and our futures are limitless. You are not the things ppl say about you. If anything, those comments only show how those ppl feel about themselves. My father refuse to stay poor and did things that were incredibly hard for him just so he could provide a life for me. Eventually he went to a few warzones to work and risked his life to come home and build something for us. That why he's my hero. He taught me that even in the hardest of times you ha e to do the hardest of things to make it to the best of places. I love your content and please keep doing what your doing. And the things you went through I have seen here for myself. It's very true what they say... What doesn't kill you makes you stronger. But it also definesbyou. Makes you who you are. And now the world sees you. A strong wonderful beautiful woman whose worse oof times did not take her focus. I walk around and I travel through the Philippines, I see people at their best and worst. I see the struggles and wonders of an amazing people. The well off, the Itas, the people who stand strong in poverty, those who find courage deep inside and those who deal with struggles in a bottle of Red Horse. How life can turn on a simple choice like you did. I found you're energy and your smile amazing, your international awareness captivating. And your efforts to show the Philippines to the world genuine. And your beauty is second to none. But yto know what you been through, to see how pain shaped you, to get a glimpse into you're life make me see as wonderful as you are, you're not just a light into the the philippines and the people, you're a glowing star in the universe.
