not direcly related but I believe meanings of al-lat , el -menat and al uzza ( supposedly Goddesses pagans worship) needs more investigation. I take historic information with a pinch of salt. There's got to be more than that to the story. There was a turkish Quran translator claiming that these words mean "authority" "money" " power". I cannot say for sure this is the truth. but honestly this always made much sense to me . I've always seen this sign around me throughout my life.

I agree with you - we need more investigation into this. Manat Ath-Thalatha (Manat The Third) is not just poetic - there is a profound reason why these names/titles are revealed in this way - the true history is hinted at in verse like this - are these extra names for people or women who are significant unnamed figures in The Qur'an? There is something salient about the depth yet specificity of The Qur'an's words

Peace, The intention matters as well, because Allah does not hold one accountable who does actions out of ignorance and then reforms once The Guidance reaches them. Alas, most of humanity adheres to their traditions in spite of evidence to the contrary. فَلَمَّا رَءَا ٱلشَّمۡسَ بَازِغَةࣰ قَالَ هَـٰذَا رَبِّی هَـٰذَاۤ أَكۡبَرُۖ فَلَمَّاۤ أَفَلَتۡ قَالَ یَـٰقَوۡمِ إِنِّی بَرِیۤءࣱ مِّمَّا تُشۡرِكُونَ﴿ ٧٨ ﴾ • Sahih International: And when he saw the sun rising, he said, "This is my lord; this is greater." But when it set, he said, "O my people, indeed I am free from what you associate with Allah . یَـٰۤأَبَتِ إِنِّی قَدۡ جَاۤءَنِی مِنَ ٱلۡعِلۡمِ مَا لَمۡ یَأۡتِكَ فَٱتَّبِعۡنِیۤ أَهۡدِكَ صِرَ ٰ⁠طࣰا سَوِیࣰّا﴿ ٤٣ ﴾ • Sahih International: O my father, indeed there has come to me of knowledge that which has not come to you, so follow me; I will guide you to an even path. Maryam, Ayah 43 Al-Anʿām, Ayah 78 یَـٰۤأَبَتِ لَا تَعۡبُدِ ٱلشَّیۡطَـٰنَۖ إِنَّ ٱلشَّیۡطَـٰنَ كَانَ لِلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ عَصِیࣰّا﴿ ٤٤ ﴾ • Sahih International: O my father, do not worship Satan. @@solaquranawell, No one can bind God to Their tradition and God have no obligation to follow what your tradition, and no tradition can influence God decision of matters , no one can corrupt him either.. He is above all tradition and no one can bind him to any tradition, culture or dress code or time prayers.. This is what I know.. I was recommended by someone

Astaghfirullah. I would never presume to question arbitrarily whether someone is Muslim or not. That is left for Allah to decide on The Day. We are all doing our best given our capacity. Please do provide an example where I am misleading otherwise guided Muslims and by what objective standard other than The Qur'an am I not Muslim? "Produce your proof if you should be truthful."

Dear Mariam, what is a "real" muslim? Would he be more beloved to our Creator who strives with his individual critical thinking and sheds sweat in the pursuit of finding the truth, or he who accepts whatever he is fed by his forefathers merely because they are in the majority, while lying comfortably in his bed? Who is more deserving of Allah's guidance and help? I think, the former, EVEN if he arrives at a wrong conclusion, is likely to be more honorable in God's eyes. We are all in the same boat, and we all have the same enemy, let's work together and support one another for critical thinking and sharing our efforts with others.

Maybe misleading to your version and the majority of "Muslim" which seems to hold the absolute truth because you guys swear that everyone else is wrong, but for someone who's truly submit to GOD, this is just another tools to be closer with the absolute truth, because I believe GOD alone holds the absolute truth as we are only a mortal human that needs to be created. So Mariam, if you holds the absolute truth please share with us, let me be closer to the creator, the possessor of the absolute truth.
