K' being my favourite kof character it was a no brainer to pull Lighter even if it didnt make sense for my account. I got him and Im playing him as DPS cause why not, and damn he is actually good like this, not record breaking but he has surprisingly strong multiplier on his Ex special and morale burst machine gun punches. Something worth mentioning is how stupidly tanky he is in morale burst machine gun punch mode, dude has 80% dmg reduction, that is huge! Pair that with a ceasar shield and it stacks, you are unkillable while doing that move. Even in tower advanced floors where bossed one shot you, morale burst lighter + ceasar shield can tank 4-5 huge boss bombs unflinched. His survivability is insane. Loving the kof background songs btw 👌. And yeah, he is a super fun unit to play, Im satisfied with him ans I dont even have no ice or fire unit to buff with him lol

If you don't have Soldier 11 or Ellen, I would say skip Lighter and aim to build a team around Miyabi. More units that release later will be tailored to her and at least you'll have a much better DPS unit with her

Depends if you have Lycaon. And to get full value out of Lighter's passive, he needs 270+ impact (possible with his w engine or koleda's, but might be wrong on the 2nd option). And everything else was said in the video

If you want to focus on building a team for Ellen then yes he’s worth getting! You don’t “need” his engine for Lighter to perform well but it would help if you do! Koldea’s or Precious Fossilized Core are also good options as well!

I would gladly take the advice of a profesional about this, I am confused in what 4 piece set to give him, i am using the standard Soldier 11 with lucy. -4 Shockstar is what everyone says to go, but i dont understand why, in S11 teams he wants to parry and just use his bursts so the value here is really low. -4 Inferno metal is good on paper but you dont have enough time the burning state on the enemy to get value from it, usually is 1/3 of the time. -4 Freedom Blues on paper is also good because you reduce the fire res buildup from the enemy but there is hard to build him because the 2 piece is wasted. -4 Proto punk is also good because it gives more damage and the buff is perma. *Explodes in idk what to do * Seeing that you are a lover main of S11 i would like to see your opinion

I recently just changed my mind on those earlier today. I originally thought Shockstar was good too but like you said he isn’t in Morale Burst long enough to take full advantage of it, so I think his best options are: Swing Jazz- For the ER + the DMG buff it provides when using Chain Attack and Ultimate Proto Punk - for DMG buff with the Defensive and Evasive Assist

Issue is, why over-invest on old units that will fall off in the short term when you can get a similar result with S11+Ceaser+C6 Lucy? Unless you are a newer player you probably got a C6 Lucy. S11 is just one of those units that prefers to be on the field most of the time anyways. Lighter has no home because the units he is supposed to support are aging like milk. Zhu yaun, Ellen, S11, they are all going to be left behind once miyabi comes out.

Miyabi's not replacing all of them because you'll still need multiple teams but those characters are aging. Again Lighter is a future investment character as more units that he'll be able to buff will be released down the line. That's why I mentioned you can pull him now or later, just depends on you. It's not like those characters are dying off any time soon though because most of them are still clearing content with ease.

Ellen you have an argument for, but every other character no. All of those other characters are going to perform better than Miyabi in content weak to their element. And when future fire and ice units come out they are absolutely going to be better on par with, if not better than Miyabi in 2.x.

I respect Lighter but I cleared this month's first 2 weeks shiyu defense and the end of last month with S ranks with my current roster so I don't think I need him right now and not worth to give up the guarantee for Miyabi with 90 pulls and counting but in the future I might get the 😎 🚲'er boi.
