Great convo! Loved how amber articulated her ADHD journey & her perspective on it being a trend(a good thing) & taking medication. Why should we make our lives harder because it’s accepted it’s better to struggle?! Also loved the PMDD info.

I just love her vibe. She is an amazing person to spread awareness on ADHD. It’s not easy but it helps to have people like her for encouragement. She articulates herself so well in a way that’s informative yet entertaining.

That is wild. I’ve struggled with ADHD my whole life and have been avoiding meds. The last 5 years my PMS has been severe. The fact that people with it have a higher chance for PMDD gives me relief knowing I’m not crazy for thinking something was very off. Thanks for posting this podcast.

Love your podcast and so grateful that I found it!! This episode was GREAT! My one comment that I disagree with a bit on, is you made a comment regarding going up on dosage for the adhd meds. You said it as if that was a concretely bad thing, while also acknowledging (and asking about whether or not) she might have to be on it forever (and if she was comfortable about it.) I feel like that's a little ignorant in that, if you're on almost ANY type of medication for extensively long, MOST medications will lose impact over time forcing you to have to increase your dosage.

@@ShivaniPauPodcast Aged 45 recently diagnosed with ADHD it’s been one of the biggest reliefs to finally understand why I’m the way I am. It’s also helped improve relationships too as others can understand that’s I’m not being deliberately “lazy” “rude” “over emotional” Shivani from what you said I think it may be worth getting tested.
