It is quite hard to upload a video that does not get along with the consensus, but I just could not figure out how to maximize her potential at C0. I spent a lot of time trying her out with many team comps, so I could not make any video on Kujou Sara and Aloy today. I'm very sorry everyone! I always watch my old videos to remind myself how I should not be rushing to make videos so I keep all the characters at 80/90 level, 6/6/6 talents, and 90 level weapon. try it with eula team comp well if you use her at c0 eula team is the best for her because eula and her can keep rotating burst. it was what i do with baal c 0.(that 200k dmg that you do on this show case is the highest c0 baal can do in my opinion so it was not your fault electro is underwelming rn)

I mean electro is not supposed to be a main carry thing. Mihoyo announced baal as a support. She deals crazy damage at c0 woth a four star weapon. I did more than 300k with the ult(bennett and sucrose buff applied) so theres literally no reason to call out baal is weak. Her e is very strong. It may not seem like it. But my e does 5k per tick. Thats 5k extra damage FOREVER. 25 second duration and 10sec cd. You dont even need to hit an opponent to activate it

@@bruuuhh0 unfortunately xiao has only 3 seconds downtime on his ult and raiden's ult is (7 + 2(from animation)) is 9 seconds duration. So u will have 6 seconds of wasted potential on your xiao. Personally wouldnt recommend them both. Put another anemo charecter with him and Xiao will utilise his ult more.

But at the same time, if you use Baal for energy it will be at least 2 rotations before you can max her resolve stacks because you need everyone's ult to be up. In order to make her 7 second on field time worth it, you need to be able to max stack her without her help on energy.

She's probably be best with off field characters exclusively? I'm thinking Albedo, Venti, Sucrose, Fish, etc. That being said her buff would probably be great with fast damage dealers like Childe--especially so since his whole kit is off and on field

If you wanted to use her in electro charged I was thinking it might even be better to build her full EM since damage from electro reactions scale only on EM/level and her elemental skill is AoE. You'd lose your burst damage but it's kind of low at C0 anyways. Like full EM Thundering Fury for 40% EC damage bonus or 4pc Tenacity of Mililith for a permanent 20% ATK buff to the team. Might be quite a bit better than emblem set if you're using her with characters like Childe.

@@JohnSmith-ef6sv that depends who triggers the reaction. If you are using with Xinqiu I would assume he's the one triggering because of the travel time, but with Childe I don't know and I don't own him so I can't test.

Xingqiu and Childe have very fast hydro application and combined with Xiangling who has no ICD on her burst means she can vape on every hit. Unless her electro application is somehow faster than Childe/Xingqiu(doubtful) then she should be the one triggered electro charged but I'll have to test it out and see.

IMO if you play since day 1, you might already have at least 2 full teams to plow through end game in Genshin hence, I would now start pulling for aesthetic. Baal is 10/10 aesthetic wise but not for dps apparently. But she is good with Eula for that consistent superconduct. Plus, she is an archon. I definitely satisfied with her. But if she was like in the first 10 limited banners, I might not pull for her like how I did with Zhongli. I only pulled him in rerun banner. Low spender life. Gotta plan ahead. But now, any great looking, aesthetically pleasing character will be my main target.

Was talking to my friend about different ways to use Baal. Personally i have her as off field support for Yoimiya and on field dps with her ult during Yoimiya "E" downtime. Another build that could be viable is 4 piece thundering fury with EM build to trigger Overload with Yoimiya, won't proc every hit but can hit pretty hard.

Mihoyo reiterated that she is a support character. She does her job well given that her artifacts are decent or better. Personally, I pulled for her because one: i simp and second: unlimited burst seems so much fun, hehe. But really, people are turning albedo, zhongli, or even barbara as dps, i guess whatever floats your boat.

After playing around a little bit, gotta agree. the resolve stacks are really hard to max out before popping Q and always ends up 50-70% of the way. I'm using a favonius lance lvl 90 cause thats all i got paired with bennet Q lvl 13, pyro resonance, and zhongli shield shred, but the damage is kinda low ngl. IDK if The Catch is gonna make such a huge difference. Plus the cherry picking with beidou ult is just nonsense. instead digging deep into wordplay they shoulda just changed beidou ult to work with raiden instead of posting an excuse 1 second after the patch dropped. Its like they got ready to lawyer up the second it was released. Just change it lmao Conspiracy theory: Maybe they preemptively nerfed this one thing so they can go back and fix it for good looks. create a problem and sell the solution

I can max it out at CO. My team is Ganyu - Zhongli - Diona - Raiden. You just have to always use your teammates ult and elemental skill. My highest damage is 91k with benny and sucrose buff and Skyward spine.

As a Childe main, I think it’s important that people understand her Dmg is there but its not, on the surface level, obvious. Her burst Dmg is primarily the strike she does at the beginning when she pulls her sword out and her Resolve Stacks are so important to her Dmg output. I’m able to hit 60k crit easily with Raiden for her burst, and then her sword swings are around 10kish. Also Cordinated Atk is like riptide, where you’re gaining extra dmg just by existing Its not the character themself, its how people perceived her rather then how she is meant to be played. In my eyes she is a Sub DPS/Burst DPS. She is there to what she needs to do in order to keep the DMG per second high and so your main DPS doesn’t need to be on the field forever. She can be a main DPS of course, but this might not be the best way to play her despite it being a valid build

No, it's pretty obvious her damage is on the low side. Her E deals a rather joke damage and her burst despite having a okay multiplier is held back because it's electro. But she does other 'support' things that no other sub/dps can do. Like for childe comps obviously Xiangling will deal way more damage as a sub dps, but that's all ur gonna get while baal supports the team despite having lower DPS

@@p0xstep I’m not saying that Electro doesn’t need a buff, I’m saying that Raiden’s dmg a lone is sufficient and people haven’t actually built her enough yet to give a valid take. Most people who are complaining I can assure you are using mediocre artifacts (which may not even be level 20 yet), possibly not even a level 80 Baal, and a meh non 90 Weapon. Her E skill is kinda meh though, but at the same time I see it as more of a support skill than a Dps skill. It literally has a more burst dmg effect to whoever uses their burst when its active, and its perfect for someone like Eula who can get easy Superconducts off of it

I'd say her skillset is to complement Eula; boosting her Burst DMG and be a great battery for everyone on team, moreover, Eula with Song of Broken Wallet can boost Beelzebub's ATK Speed, making the pair even stronger as a team... as for the 2 other teammates, we can fill it with Beidou for shield and Electro shred at C6 (or Fischl, but that would be too much energy?) or Lisa (DEF shred + TTDS), Bennett, Xingqiu, Diona (shield+heal+Cryo reso), Zhongli (shield, omnishred), Rosaria (Crit boost + cryo reso), etc

I have two broken characters; namely Ganyu and Hutao, the best supports in the game are mostly 4 stars and Kazuha which i also have and assuming most mid competitive f2p players are like me, but with different mains, players should just focus on aesthetic and enjoyment. I pulled for aesthetic/archon collecting. Honestly did not expect much out of an electro subdps battery. But I threw some decent (nothing crazy) artifacts and she actually can dish out a bunch of damage. Thats at like lvl 60 with like lvl 4 burst too. I run her with Taser Childe which works pretty well. Beidou ult battery and can thrown her in to do huge burst dmg while Childe on CD.

i fully agree. i love her and i think her actual kit is amazing but for electro characters, they're held back just for being electro and these are my reasons for electro needing buffs the element themed around energy recharge doesn't fix the fact that having an electro unit being electro makes them a worse character. the reactions are damn useless and have incredibly low utility and damage. the resonance is lackluster and effects very little in gameplay but the reactions.... OH GOD THE REACTIONS. one of them hits enemies away, one only benefits physical teams, and the other is a slight damage proc that will stun a small hilichurl for about .1 seconds. all of these are borderline useless for electro units that aren't physical focused, the reactions are seen as a downside because they could prevent a reaction like vaporize or melt or freeze, and to top it all off, the reactions have no correlation to energy recharge OR elemental burst.

Now it's "burst damage" so 4PC emblem can boost Raiden's normals during the 7 sec. Now that it's not "normal attack damage", it doesn't fulfill Beidou's proc: "upon normal or charged attack hit". The buff that allowed 4PC emblem to boost Raiden's attacks, also stops the requirement for Beidou's ulti to work.

Like, even a character with Emblem set, you lose some ER and burst damage, but that's equalized with Raiden Shogun's skill and burst. The stat space that previously had ER can be replaced with atk, crit, perhaps EM. That said, this is difficult to optimize, especially without resin refreshing lol. Ironically, i think she's most valuable when you have very low investment in other characters' artifacts and very high investment. Average investment i think is where she falls off

And because she is electro there will always be a character that would give even more damage than the less ER builds would. Let's take some team archetypes as examples. Let's say you run a team with 2 pyro and 1 hydro. Can you honesty say an electro character would fit in there? Let's say you run a team with 2 pyro and 1 cryo. Same question. 2 cryo and 1 hydro. Electro will literally ruin each of those teams. Ruining all your reactions. You can't slot in electro. You CAN slot in a geo tho. And as you can definitely use anemo. True supports. And you can even put another hydro, cryo or pyro (except for freeze). So you're stuck with a support that can't support. I should make it clear that I do not think Baal is awful. I think she's a decent pull that is held back by her element currently being weak. However, I fully expect an electro buff down the road. (Otherwise MiHoYo kinda bad ye?)

What comp exactly? Her problem is that she CAN work with some specific comps, but she is never the best choice for or fill a slot than isn't already fulfilled. For Xiangling comps, she CAN work, but so can a normal national team with XQ, Bennet and Chongyun. Her energy gain at C0 isn't enough to completely forgo energy build so it's almost pointless. For Eula, Fischl C6 actually deals more consistent damage overall through her bird passive. For general comps, her "energy battery" support CAN work, but slotting Kazuha, Venti, or even Sucrose can also work while being much more universal characters by directly boosting damage. Her problem is that she doesn't necessarily excel in any role that can't already be done with other characters than are more universal. She doesn't even work with Beidou's ult. She's not bad, she's subpar due to being limited by composition. She's a cute waifu though.

First of all, the difference between dmg from engulfing lightning compared to the catch is really low, so yeah, youre not losing much there. Second, doing 200k initial hit + 30k every hit for 7s is absolutely fine, since her team is supposed to work as elemental burst spam. But imo youre totally using her wrong, she is not supposed to show u big numbers to satisfy whale ass desires, like on test trial, is u put her with a bunch of off field DPS characters enemies are just going to explode all around you. The real issue here is that she doesnt work with the character that would have the best synergy with her, Beidou. A damn shame...
