If were Bronny man, I'd have a tough time dealing with the fact that I know I'm only in the league because of my dad. I'd at least want to put together a solid college career before even considering the NBA. I'd want to earn it, but that's me. I feel like he might get the cold shoulder from lesser men in the lockerroom and around the league. He's going to deal with a lot from the fans, for sure... Deep down, I'm sure Bronny knows he doesn't deserve this chance based on his resume so far, and because of that, he's going to regret this decision unless he actually shows out. So my example of nepotism makes sense. Bronny is the same case, but XQC is arguing is good for optics, and many ppl will be interested in watching Lakers with father/son combo. Except that wont happen. He will come off bench for few games against dog teams for very limited minutes, while for any competitive games he wont see a floor. My point is, the hype of seeing two brothers playing at first was high, and quickly vanished, and same will happen with Lakers

I think the video only covered how bronny james is as a late second rounder pick rather than the issue of nepotism, idk why jxmy just said it's nepotism right away. Correct me if im wrong but lebron is an unrestricted free agent, which means he has no power within the Lakers organization that would potentially damage the organization (refusing to play, play horribly etc) in addition to that he is only player not an owner of the Lakers franchise. From what I remembered lebron stated that he will join the team that drafted bronny. I think people just followed the narrative of "draft bronny because he is my son" rather than a combined deal of getting an amazing player for a already low value 55th round pick (video also stated the value of late rounds picks). Nepotism could be define as the use of power to favor a family member, but lebron clearly doesn't have any power because he is just a free agent, he doesn't have the power to force people to sign him so that his son gets drafted. I would definitely call it blatant nepotism if lebron forced his way to draft his son. I'm not saying that there isn't nepotism in the league it's just that I feel bad that this topic suddenly get brought up because one of the greatest/hated player in the game is center of the topic.
