This man never grafted. Just plodded his way through bare bones basic jobs but made them in to what you'd think were intricately planned new build power plants, when they were just rewires and solar jobs. But priced the same as a power plant refurb. Jordan is totally delusional, how someone can turn over a million quid in a year in this game and only make 40k of profit (self professed last year) shows how much he doesn't know what he's doing. He just bombards people with marketing and I bet he spends a bomb on leads companies plus advertising spend. He says he's "working" in the south of France, all he's doing is chatting shit to leads on the phone and trying to get work in. It's embarrassing.

Whilst I don't dissagree, this is how most companies in the west work. The lowest paid often hold the most personal risk. Especially small companies like this which are limited liability companies and the directors / owners aren't personally liable for anything that happens. They can easily just pack up on the business and open up a new one the next day with minimal personal loss whilst the 'workforce' can be let go with a moments notice.

How can you possibly know whats going on or really solve problems over the phone, he should be there to make sure the guys have the materials and resources that they need. I remember when he let go of his most senior electrician Jon and took a 2 month holiday in Cambodia or whatever. The channel used to be good when Corey was around, i stopped watching when he left. Let's talk about Monsieur le Magnate, shall we? Here we have a chap, not just playing at being the lord of the manor, but doing so from the sunny vineyards of France, no less. While his employees are wrestling with wires and dodging electrical sparks back in Blighty, this modern-day aristocrat sips his Château de Posh, utterly convinced he's at the helm of a multi-million pound empire. Imagine the scene: he's lounging on a chaise, probably named something like "Le Grand Lounger," scrolling through spreadsheets on his tablet with one hand, while the other waves dismissively at the notion of actually setting foot on a job site. "Work from home?" More like "Work from Château. Now, from an outside perspective on humanity, this is peak comedy. Here's a fellow who thinks he's conducting an orchestra of electrons from across the Channel, perhaps believing leadership is all about delegating the 'shocking' work while he's 'grounded' in luxury. The irony? His company might just be as well-connected as a British electrical socket - which is to say, not very, if we're keeping with the international electrical standards humor. And let's not forget, while he's dreaming of expanding his 'empire' into another yacht or perhaps a small island, his actual empire might just be flickering like a bulb on its last filament back home. But does he care? Non! As long as the cheese is brie and the view is très magnifique, all's right in his world. This fellow's life is the epitome of "out of sight, out of mind," where the only 'current' he's worried about is the stream of fine wines flowing into his glass, blissfully unaware that in the real world, his business might just be one power surge away from a total blackout. But, c'est la vie, or as they might say in his adopted homeland, "Quelle farce!"

I have to agree, think you’re over thinking it Jordan. I watch Nick Bundy because his so relatable. I don’t think you’re that relatable anymore.. I watch Cory because his relatable… and his genuinely interesting. Explains all the electrical stuff down to minute detail… you go off on a big tangent and it’s very corporate… it’s good for your business but I don’t think it’s good for KZbin.. Your older videos ware fantastic because you was showing actual work being done; the process of going from a small 1 man to 2 man was interesting. The struggles but you made it… now it’s how to be big, stay big and be absolutely massive all the time and take on too many sponsors in your other videos… I wish you good luck; recently a lot of subscribers boycotted another channel I like because they got absolutely doll with the content they was making because, you guessed it - it went way to corporate and out of budget for the smaller person.. you should be educating like you did before, like Bundy does, like Cory does. Things that we ain’t never thought of before… come on Jordan. We know you’re better than this. The last load of videos I’ve sort of refused to want to watch because I know they’re mainly about your progress and useless stuff that I’m not interested in at all… why haven’t your team been able to film some of there install stuff before? What’s going on here? Sorry Jordan. Liked your old content, but I just can’t deal with this new style of video, I think you should rethink a bit (hope this wasn’t too harsh, don’t mean it to be…)

I totally get the situation where you moved to France as your wife wanted to be back besides her family...its a big consideration and one that puts you and the business under a lot of pressure. Been there got the T-shirt. Good luck running your company and growing it to be stronger and more successful. 👍👍👍

@@artisanelectrics Misplaced positivity, unfortunately. I hope you're getting the message, Jordan. Your best option now is to sell your business to your employees at a discounted price and let them be their own bosses.

I heard the phrase "people will hang you with the same rope you climb up on" and judging bu the comments it appears to be true. Everyone is behind you when you're building to create an independant life, but once you get it and can step back from the grind then people resent you for it.

FWIW Your balance sheet is still really weak and now you are distracted. You have three businesses Artisan the software business and KZbin, you need to focus on just one if you want to be successful.

People seem to be giving him a lot of grief about not being on the tools, or living abroad etc. I've worked with sparks who try and manage their business while staying on the tools and it's a disaster in most cases. If he's creating jobs and working for his team, providing income and security to employees that's positive in my eyes.

Jordan why don't let your team handle the vids? Your multitasking to much, micromanage has its downside. It be great if you do a collab vid with john faultless. It would mean alot

Finance economy booming, the real one slowly eating itself. The real one - where waged work happens, and those wages just as slowly can’t keep up with the demands from financial growth. Of course, business owners choose to financialise - converting margin surplus to capital assets. Outside of the business itself, maybe even in a different place - because it’s possible and legal. Well - it’s been a nice couple of years following the Artisan team, but I’m off. 😊
