He never said who did it, but we all knew. Things went on like that for awhile - prison life consists of routine, and then more routine. Every so often, 16 would show up with fresh bruises. The Sisters kept at him - sometimes he was able to fight 'em off, sometimes not. And that's how it went for 16 - that was his routine.

I also believe the prison system is in need of being bought out of medieval days and imates should be allowed to join the 21st century and have cellphones. Its unethical to reveal sexual activity of other inmates. Not everyone has the ability to resist sexual urges under those conditions. Your stories are important to me because a guy from Chicago who was in the marine Corp shot and killed my son and another marine over a girl back in August 1997 in Riverside Calif. I'm from MN. Never been to PRISON, only jail. But we'd talk about that stuff, or I would with the people who had been to prison. The ones who only went to state prison said it only happens in the feds. People who had been to the feds said it only happened in state prisons. Others said it mostly happened in actual jails. So each system says "it didn't happen here, but it happens in the one I haven't been to" So, I believe you. I think it's a made up issue people use to scare others, or to make themselves feel like there is some sort of justice for a criminal being assaulted that way as a form of "karma" so to speak. Like with cho-moes. "Oh they'll run through him when he's in!" Yeah, they will run through him, just not like that! Might still happen in the shower, but not in the sense of dropping the soap
