As far as the game goes. I see people advocating for this game to be like Xenoverse 2. I honestly don't think it's necessary. Xenoverse should be its own thing and Sparking Zero should be its own thing. But issues with this game still needs fixing. Unfortunately people who are "good" at this game are affraid of a patch because they're scared that they're not gonna be able to adapt to changes. That's the only answer. They want people to come to SZ, but they don't want the game to be fixed. So basically they want a sick state unfinish games for them, but accuses the entire fanbase of wanting gameplay to work for them. So basically deflecting and gaslighting. I'm sorry if two or three people in a empty crowd crickets support this game and 90% of the fanbase left within two months... I think it's pretty safe to assume that it's not the two peoole supporting this game on dial up that are correct. Fix the game, save Sparking Zero.

Overall needs more content, I unlocked everything in the first week I had the game so if we get more characters more modes (pve included) and more customization/costumes the game will be alive and fun. Blaming other players for being overly competitive is a horrible excuse the truth is it's not fun because there is nothing to do, once you get to lvl 20 you have simply beat the game and can unlock everything.

I am staying with it, just offline. Mostly because I hate the reversal system. When you are skilled it can go on and on. With me and a friend we had an exhibition match and it was fucking annoying. We had strings of like 15 vanishes in a row, every time we used physicals and not special. and it only stopped because we said “ FUCK IT! “ and let ourselves get it. Plus the unending annoyance of the perfect blocks. It got to the point after I won I never wanted to try again. The 5v5 lasted over 35 minutes. I love this game, but Jesus Christ NEVER AGAIN.

Honestly, for now this game doesn't have a decent pvp (this is for the reasons you listed regarding the community, balancing etc.) and it doesn't even have game modes, the patches haven't managed to improve the situation (now on PC we are went from 120k to peaks of 3k) and unless they introduce new game modes a dlc won't magically solve the situation

Ki does build back from landing punches. The issue is, that everyone does way too much damage and surpasses their BT3 counterparts by far. SSJ4 Gogeta in SZ would give his previous counterparts a run for their money. Ki charging is fine. The whole game needs a slight rescale.

@@lordpookie I only have a vivid memory of play bt games a raging blast. I don't have a problem with supers and ultimates being in the game because it's an arena fighter after all. But the obscure damage on supers and the fact that they randomly are unlockable without the game even telling you it is one or no slight visual indication to differentiate them from a regular supers is dumb. Unlockable ultmates is probably the most stupidest thing to be implemented into an arena fighter in my opinion because why the hell would an ultimate that does more damage then supers be an unlockable? This makes the players work less on landing them and giving them free damage with minimum effort. That's why cheese like ki blast spam exist in the first place

Supers and ultimate requires resources to use them. If they are problematic then suggest taking away the unlockable property from supers, ultimate, and nerf the damage of supers that do too much damage. Boost literally allow your supers to do extra damages which is why a nerf to the base damage of the supers needs to be torn down.

I feel it’s not the community but content as a lot of people don’t play competitively also it’s not the communities fault they chose to play the super broken unbalanced character it’s the devs fault for having these unbalanced things in the game even if this is the couch vs game that isn’t an excuse this isn’t the 90s to 00s we have progressed in technology this isn’t how it works anymore we don’t care how old you are either yes it’s still the communities fault for choosing to use cheese but it’s the devs fault for over seeing these problems when unbalance is the obvious answer and problem with this terrible game not to mention the content for offline which a lot of people only do offline as a majority as people come home from work and don’t wanna deal with other people anymore this games price is also disgusting for the level of content it doesn’t even reach 50 pounds it’s level of content is 20 to 30 pounds worth maybe less it’s also everyone’s fault for buying terrible games off the rip instead of waiting genuine advice comes from the never pre order games and stuff like this it’s also the fault of time constraints sometimes things aren’t ready this is one of them and it still needed testing as the amount of bugs were a huge problem and they still haven’t fixed a lot of them either not to mention the combo and button layout were terrible I also don’t care if this was what you used early on in bt3 as this is the problem riding on nostalgia is a bad idea but these button layouts are terrible I’m not trying to bend my fingers in different directions and dislocate them it’s not a good layout and is the thing that needs changed the most also combos are entirely the same making every character blend together that’s not something you want from a game were every character has different abilities and styles of fighting kind of stupid

2 ki cost z burst dash ruined this game worse than that girl jason luv put in the hospital. some supers really did need to be slowed down like roshi's lightning surprise BS and galactic donut spam etc, but way more than that was slowed down. These guys embarassed themselves in front of the world with their tournament. They're not going to make DLCs people want to buy. i thought custom battles were cool then they were like "no mods" so it instantly became useless. Y'all can love the game as much as you want, but this was a cash grab for minimal effort. doesn't make it a bad game in and of itself, but it's left a lot to be desired. It was something fun to do for a little while. My PC version of the game has never fully worked correctly, the game definitely worked better and felt a million times more fluid before the patch

My major problem with this game is the knockdown these players abuse the knockdown mechanic with three combo hits or a little bit more. Send your characters flying on the ground stunned for like five seconds like your character is a level one DP character and then they spam their supers and then they abuse this gut punch in mechanic or kick to the gut which leave her character is done for a ridiculous amount of time the last one where you’re playing the game there and you find a way around super defensive players and then when you do find a way to attack them. They somehow send your character flying by countering mid combo

The game is not necessarily the problem, the toxic community is. Every fighting game has its flaws . Its a game and many people need to get over it . As for the actual gameplay mechanics , the devs pretty much did what they could to balance out the game play . Yet somehow there's still a problem with the game . Overall , This game is unbalanced for casual and regular players. The devs knew they couldn't satisfy everyone upon the release date . Therefore sparking zero was rushed to meet the release date .
