Wow, you did a twist out and wash and go at the same time? That's dedication! I think you should do a liquid leave in with the gellie type rather than the comback kid, which is more a cream. You may get better results? I like the original texture ID, mielle's, and curls blue berry bliss.

Try it...but you may need a trim if your hair tangles so much. often, that is a sign of damage. I have 4c hair and I dont have that issue, especially not after a trim.
