I’ve copied trades from a signal provider over the past few years and its better than trading blindly on your own if youre an absolute newbie. It would give you a better understanding of what's happening but keep in mind that the success of copying another trader lies in their transparency. As long as you do your homework on who you’re copying and what their strategy is, it’s a nice hands-off way to invest.

She has since provide entry and exit points on the securities I focus on. You can look her up online if you care supervision. I basically follow her trade pattern and haven’t regretted doing so

I believe the "mission" of IU doesn't support hand holding, alert service, excuse-driven trading. It is more of a resource for learning how to be independent as a trader. The value of IU is in the education, experience and quality of content. It is not a room for degenerates and emotional traders. The consistency that Nate and many in the room have is a product of their decipline, focus, drive, execution and dedication to the personal habits that good traders practice.

There’s a lot of material you should understand before being in the chat room tbh. There’s also an onboarding video that explains where you should start. Once you understand the mentality and methodology, it’s very very solid. Watchlists are money to focus on runners from previous day. These setups can be highly profitable. You won’t be spoon fed entries and exits but rather you should be learning great setups and how to trade on your own. I understand beginners having trouble but you need to put in effort to extract the value here, which is high.

thanks for your video. I have lost money to attend a course in the past, later found out that my teacher had lost all his money because of trading and switched to teaching to make money. There are a lot of poor quality trading courses on the market. this is really a problem. only suffer those who are new to the market. Too much trust in teachers. just lost money. just took time.

I am with IU now and do not plan to renew. I had an experience where someone posted a symbol on the MOMO chat that turned out to be crud. I entered the trade because the alert was that it was spiking, and it was, but then it fell down and kept falling all day and the next day. This totally messed me up because I lost almost $3,000 on the trade which put me under the PDT rule. I kept scaling in so my size was way too large, and I did not exit the trade properly. My trade management was horrible. I understand this was my fault but I was new to IU. I look back and wonder why such a cruddy symbol would be allowed to be posted. That is when I realized that IU needs to develop one more live chat that is limited to only the 8-10 symbols that are on Nate's watch list every morning. No other discussions would be allowed. This would be a huge boon to the new traders to know which symbols to focus on and ignore the rest. Our learning would go through the roof and it would have prevented me from this terrible mistake. One more thing. Many of their videos need to be updated because they look like they are 10+ years old. I think IU is the best place to be but not for new traders. Momo trading with small junk stocks probably is not the best way for a new trader to start in stocks. Other than the issue with the cruddy symbol, I learned a lot, Nate is the best, and the platform is great. But I've moved on to other trading groups.

Alex, It strikes me than Lane Elder would actually be a great hire for IU, maybe to provide even better course structure, focused on filling in the gaps and details from a beginers point of view. Also seems like a good , relateable rep, tell Nate to hire him!! Just my 2 cents (think you say over there in the u.s.)

Nate scales into trades and isn’t transparent on what the trade edge is… some get the feeling it’s random results hidden by the illusion of wisdom. These reviews say they know what they talk about in IU, but it’s an illusion with many trades and you never k ow which are successful and which are failures… so it’s hard to discern Nate’s actual edge… and that’s what’s great about selling trading services, is you can always claim the learning trader didn’t understand the trade, laughable really

Well put. I’ve always been sceptical of Nate and his trading system because most of the time he just seems to spew gibberish and when questioned about his delivery he gets super defensive and deletes/blocks comments. And every week it seems like he goes back and forth with what he says like one week he says he will stay away from parabolic small caps because it’s a headache to trade and focus large caps then the next week all he talks about is how the small caps are going crazy! He seems very disingenuous and I can’t imagine someone with his temperament really makes a lot trading! I get the theory about how some people love teaching that’s why they sell courses but why charge an arm and a leg if you’re doing it because you love to! Hard pass on IU!
