That what we did with my mom-n-law, from 5 to 11 pro. We were already subscribed to KZbin without commercials. Sometimes, the billing doesn’t act right. The commercials come back right away. I added her to our subscription plan. It is funny that she gets upset when she has to deal with the commercials. We have her spoiled .. lol!

Holy crap broooo. That’s a HUGE UPGRADE! Massive. The IPhone X was cool when it first came out but when I had it it used to die so much I had to keep recharging 3 or 4 times a day i had to walk with my charger… yeah I have the 15 pro max and this is the best battery life I’ve had but yeah they made it even better on the 16 pro max. I thought the same. It is strange how things happen for a reason. I had the iPhone pro max 16 ordered and it got delayed for 5 weeks. So I ordered the iPhone 16 pro. I then saw the increased size to 6.3 inch and it is quite alright. The iPhone 13 Pro Max is 240grams it is one of the heaviest phones Apple created. The iPhone 16 pro is 199 grams that’s 40 grams lighter. That’s 25% lighter. I found it at times too big heavy to carry specifically when wearing shorts. I will see how I get on.

The non-Max 16 will have better battery life than your 12 Pro Max. If you want a smaller phone, you'll be safe there. Of course, the 16 Pro Max will be even better by about 2 hours which may be negligible anyway!

But as my charging port is faulty, and would cost £150/ £200 ish to replace, plus the battery replacement, I thought I’d just get the 16PM. I also have a slight crack in my 13PM screen.

I’ve got the 1tb 14pro max..and the reasons I’m upgrading is for the usb from lighting, better battery, Apple intelligence, more camera features (got kids so video content is a must with them), upgrades with 5g, WiFi 7, faster charging and the slightly bigger screen. Now for the those with the 15 pro I’d say wait for next year. I usually if necessary upgrade every two years anyway. I know next year it’s going to be different. If they come out with an ultra iPhone then that’d be cool and all. I’ll wait for the revamp and improve version of that in 2026. Also it’s suck that I can’t even use the AI with the 14 series anyway.

Oh from 13 Pro to 16 Pro you will get a big increase. I mean it's about 3 hours more than the 15 Pro. I can easily get through a morning-to-night "day" on the 16 Pro, which surprised me because I never could before and always needed a Max size for that.

I’ve been fascinated by this apple launch..it’s such a “minor upgrade” (I state with little technology actual intelligence) hardware side but the software of AI will be huge. “Will be huge” the delay is terrible and looses the launch excitement completely. Also, 15 pro users have a very little OR no incentive to upgrade. No way will I be upgrading my wonderful 15PM as I will eventually be getting the main selling story of AI from apple. Overall, some nice ideas for the 16 pro line. That camera button is ridiculous though. What were they thinking ?! 15 pro users - red. Don’t upgrade. 14 pro users - amber. Would be a nice upgrade, especially if AI is a big factor. 13,12 pro users, green. Go for it

Andru I’ve always enjoyed your presentations but your review skews to favor Apple marketing talking points. Rather than an accurate reflection for consumers? For example in mixed format testing by Mrwhostheboss the regular 16 lasting 7 hours and change is the same as the 16 Pro? In other tests in the same Apple vs Samsung tests the Samsung S24 ultra battery life released last January outlasts this current 16 Pro Max release? In addition Super Saf’s rather thorough camera tests claim the S24 outperforms 16 Pro Max cameras on many levels. Including portrait, 2x, 3x and beyond 5x. I’ve had Apple products for years and enjoy them but weary of incremental upgrades that are based on selling you the next device instead of the best device.

From a 13PM to 16 PM, Usb-C port, USB3 speed, 6.9" display, better display resolution, Dynamic island, Wifi7, Bluetooth 5.3, new battery, new chip, better proformance, updated camera, action & camera button, better heat dissipation, Apple AI in Fall, 0% APR for 24 months w/ ACMI, unlocked, etc etc etc 😊 Apples website showed Apple AI wasn't going to be released until later in Fall and NOT when the phone is released. Stop complaining. Just wait and be patient. Then after, complain if its any good or not. My only gripe is the Pro Max model didn’t have a Blue color.
