Knowing Fast & Furious has a history of reviving characters & showing how they survived their predicament that should've killed them. Fans would already believe that the Fast Family never dies. I do believe Jakob survives. I just hope what they show makes sense how he survived unlike how Han survived. I personally do wanna see more of Jakob. I’ve heard that Cena wants a Jakob vs Hobbs or some sort of screen time with The Rock in the Fast movies so I don’t think he’s dead, judging by the cars frame I think it was reinforced in some areas (not all) so I think he manages to crawl through a window or hole and escape, maybe even Little Nobody is there and helps him escape from the wreckage or Mr Nobody (not sure on Kurt Russell’s contract with the saga)

At the end of eight, Dom is surrounded by fire but has family goes after and protects him and he isn't hurt. The two strongest members of the family were near him when this happened. Dom and his car, so the flames and the heat didn't get near him. The car on the other hand wasn't connected so it didn't survive. Yes, the cars connected to them have the power of family and are protected by it and they have similar powers and regeneration. These movies are supposed to be ridiculous right, then why not push it a little further?

I don't think that Jakob or anyone is dead, even though it seems that way in Faat X. INCLUDING Mr Nobody. After all this is why Fast X ended the way it did. I have a feeling that everyone will come back in Part II to take down Aimes. I also have a feeling that Gisele is working for Cipher and teams up with everyone in Part II as well to take down Aimes. Reason I say is that, the way Cipher smiles in that last scene before Gisele appears from the sub, is a give away.

He might have had a secret lever to put a cage of something around him to take the force of the explosion and use that as an ejection to make it seem like he died in the crash but he was blow away so he could come back. Also he has a cross similar to what Dom and Letty use as their ring so he probably did something to it like Dom did in fast 8.

The whole purpose of that scene is so that Jakob can show up at the end and surprise Dante. The whole "living in your shadow" speech confirms he has an unfinished and unresolved character arc. Dante plans for everything. So there needs to be an "oh shit" moment when he's caught off guard.

I think it might be true that Jakob is dead. But also, The Fast and Furious Franchise introduced Hobbs and Shaw. My theory is that AI from Hobbs and Shaw had saved him, but reprogrammed him to replace Brixton aka The Ghost Terminator. Think about it, if you want at least make sense of the entire franchise why not use the loose ends to create something far greater than family. These movies are based on relationships and cars, the fast series is truly about evolution. So why not do something so drastic to meet expectations of the films. Like a team up with Dante and Jakob, changing the name of the game completely. They may want to be Mission: Impossible like movies, but nothing, not even the Fast Saga can beat them.

Nope, guarantee they are gonna show Jakob thrown from the car before it exploded. Being thrown from the car is realistic and not far fetched, however, with the Torreto family being superhuman, he'll get up and walk away from the accident without a scratch.

Fast and furious character have a tendance of jumping out of the car when it is about to crash or to be bombed so if possible make him to be seen as if he jumped out of the car the way vin diesel used to do so I can be more appreciative if he appeared in Fast 11 please I like Jacob

Never saw fast 10, 9, 8 or, 7. The end of Fast Five, and half hour to hour and a half mark into Fast 6 I could tell that every other movie in the franchise would be all horrible CGI random Storyline add ons, and just extra stuff that doesn't make sense or lead up to something that could actually help the movies. Hollywood has nothing left anymore

I want to say to this video that why Kurt Russel’s character, Mr. nobody wasn’t in the fast 9 and fast x cause the most likely explanation as far as the film goes and tells is because Jakob left mr nobody on a plane in the fast 9 film once the plane crashed mr nobody knew that he had to go into hiding and trusted in Dom to save the day but it’s unknown if he survived the plane crash so we still don’t know if he is actually dead cause when we thought Han and letty and Gisele died there were funerals and those funerals were fake so that’s what we are trying to figure out about mr nobody cause there was no funeral for mr nobody but there was for those characters but they were all fake so that’s what we are trying to figure out is mr nobody alive or dead we will hopefully find that out when fast 11 comes out
