Maaaaannn.. I don't wanna talk stereotype, But as a half n**** 😂, I was married to a chinese woman for eight years, we had two kids, and towards the end of our relationship we really didn't like eachother, but we still had sex everyday.. Every day.. I really can't understand sexless marriages or having sex every week or two weeks.. how can you be sleeping next to someone naked who basically won't say no, and not have sex?! I would expect cheating before believing that two people sleeping almost naked together, won't do it for more than.. two days.. That's just too much.. Come on! I really think a sexless marriage means you married the wrong person..

I married a wonderful Japanese woman 10 years my junior when I was 43 years old. We have been married 15 years now. We live in the US and she did not turn into the typical Japanese wife even though her mother was. I had a good paying IT job and she stayed home to cook and clean. She never wanted to take care of the finances. About 8 years ago she started working full time so we shared the chores and I still took care of the finances. 6 years ago I had a bout with throat cancer and ended up in the hospital for a week because the 2nd round of chemo almost took out my kidneys. During that week she stayed by my side the whole time except for going to eat. I completed my treatment and have been cancer free since but I had to retire early and became a house husband. She still works full time but I still take care of the finances. She only makes sure I save up for trips back to Japan. I'd say I lucked out for sure!

My friend Henri, married a Japanese exchange student 10 years his junior. I saw him at the tennis courts 2 weeks after the ceremony and asked him how things were going. He told me he never dreamed the kind of life he was currently experiencing. I asked how so? He told me his wife woke him each morning with behavior that put a smile on his face. She then got up, cooked breakfast (French style) then laid out his clothes before she went to class. In the evening, when she got home, they'd adjourn to the bedroom for an hour of physical romance. She'd cook dinner, then study until eleven at which time, she'd join him in bed for a good night quickie. Another two weeks went by before I saw Henri again. He looked tired. I chided him for trying to keep up with a younger woman. He just laughed and responded with some macho talk about manhood, blah, blah, blah. Six weeks later he had a heart attack. So much for the perfect Japanese wife...

Thanks, that was hilarious guys! I love the fact that my man Hyatt proposed to the girl within two weeks. Fast mover! I myself am from Southern Africa and I've been married to my Japanese wife for about 12 years now. We live in England. We have two kids.I'm lucky because she does not give me allowance. I manage all the bills in the house and we have a joint bank account. It's very true that sex goes out of the window once you get married. In fact, after you get married sex becomes something you do just to get pregnant. After the kids arrive, forget about it. I used to be upset about it in the beginning but I soon realised that if I did not sort myself out I was heading for a divorce. So nowadays I just casually remind my wife that on Saturday or Sunday we need to cuddle up :) She needs about 24hrs notice, so I need to make my appointment in plenty of time😁. It's working for me so far. If she is tired I'm Ok with it if she can't keep the appointment. I also understand that I can live without sex, so we are happy.

A lot of these things apply to many Asian women, regardless of the country. Asian women are stronger than western women and do not tolerate weakness, especially in men. Being "a sensitive guy" to women in Asia is a mistake. You must take the masculine role seriously or they will walk all over you.

Well, it wasn't like that with my Japanese ex-wife. She started out not liking sex very much, and then got more and more into it, including after we were married. And this went on right up until we split up and moved apart. However, we were together for four years, and we never had kids. Everybody knows that time and children decrease the amount of sex across cultures.

As for the sex thing and "oppressed by wife" things: I think both have to do with being oppressed by the boss. Think about it. Japanese husband is away so much, working long hours. Wife is at home, alone, husband has no energy left. Or is hanging out with the boys God knows where. Her libido tanks for both reasons, esp if she is run ragged taking care of the house and kids. Most salaryman jobs can be literally done from home via the Internet in this day and age; and men working in more blue collar work should strike for shorter hours, esp. if they can get solidarity from overseas unions. But for the former, there is no reason to commute to work anymore. No reason to be in the office, no reason to be out drinking. The goddamn dinosaurs running Japanese companies are the only ones standing in the way of happier marriages. If husband works from home, he is also available to help out around the house and kids. This means wife is no longer lonely and exhausted, and kids get to have their father around more. Productivity increases because not having the boss literally breathing down your neck means more focus on the tasks at hand. Semi-related, the house-husband (in both the US and Japan) must cease to be a punchline; it's perfectly fine for a man to be a homemaker and a woman to be the breadwinner. Some men may even be better suited for such a role, as are some women more suited for the workplace. The former is no less a man, and the latter no less a woman. But again, the goddamn dinosaurs running these companies...

I managed to avoid having to go through the giving all your salary and getting an allowance system by setting expectations early. I will give her the same amount that I give myself, but she also gets extra for 生活費(groceries, food), and some more for the baby's expenses (food, toys, education, etc). Incidentally, my baby gets the same amount Hayatt does lol. Yes, Japanese women are crazy strong. I'm typically scared of my wife, so I spend a good amount of my time to help out with housework and with the baby. Lord knows if I don't she will one day crush my 金玉. I will however try the technique of sneaking on my wife for some happy time. But if my 金玉 gets crushed, I blame you guys.

I think serious things like this should be discuss carefully before you enter marriage. For guys, are you really willing to be the one to work and let your wife be a full housewife. You get the money and she raise kids and manage the house. I just noticed (this is based on my parents and what I have observed from other husbands and wives) most guys aren't good with budgeting. Now for women, are you really willing to stay at home and be a full time wife raising kids and managing the house, waiting for your husband's income? Both are making a lot of sacrifices here. In my opinion, both should be working, raise their kids and manage the house. Or course at some point, when the wife gets pregnant and had to breast feed, she really needs to stop from working. But only temporarily. If you sacrifice too much of yourself, in the end you will get bitter and unsatisfied with life and that will affect the people around you. Both should be very honest with theirselves before entering marriage.

This is not something unique about Japanese wive? It is just a dark side of East Asian cultures in general( China, Korea, Japanese). The bullying starts from the time you came in contact with a person to the rest of the time you spend with him or her. If you don't want that, make sure you don't even maintain eye contact with a person, whoever it is. Unlike individualist cultures, there is no clear line between fairness and bullying. Which making every bullying legal as long as you can't repel. So people just bullying each other to compensate for their suffering. It is so often becomes a norm in society can't even change it.

I manage the finances so I pay the bills, savings, all that "cool" financial stuff. Yeah.. after kids, the sex goes down but we try.... As far as Japanese women being strong? Being a housewife plus the man in the house of course its gonna be too much for them and make them salty, These men are not doing their job as a man. As an American wife who worked outside the home part-time while also raising our daughter and running the household, my advice on how husbands can get more sex is to unload the dishwasher and help with laundry once in awhile. I promise, it works!

Not for a Japanese wife! All she will do is then expect you to do it everyday but still no sex

The husband works until 8-9 then goes drinking until 11pm reaching home close to midnight. I doubt he has time or energy to do the dishes.

@@kitsura That's because Japan has a work culture that's even more broken than the one here in the U.S. And that's saying something.

That doesn’t work in Japan. Once you get married sex is only for making kids. You have to have a side girl for sex.

Your totaly right, when you get love at first sight they like sleeping beauty and perfection, but it's a trap, after a while they became a furious dragon ninja, my ex Japanese girlfriend, was the queen of troubles and make my life impossible for more than 2 years, hopefuly i was not married with her, she have so much high expectation and was a drama queen, so beware, you can probably found a real good person, but most of them are what as you describe .

Hayatt san is certainly one of those healthily masochist men that love and do very well with their oniyome 鬼嫁 (demon wives). Otherwise, he would be too scared to publish the videos like this one.

You know I find this interesting. You say Japanese wives and women are pretty tough independent and run things. The thing is many American men complain about these traits all the time and think asian ladies are more submissive and can be controlled. You say otherwise. 🤔 now, I believe you are right as all of my asian girlfriends are very strong 💪. It is just a shame american women get dragged for doing the same things when women are women the world over.

European women are independant. They don't need a man and his salary. They just go to work, earn money by themselves and raise the kids. That's the definition of being strong.

The problem is that you let your wife follow the Japanese customs related to the allowance, etc. Not a single one of these things is true in my marriage. You just need to be an alpha and take the lead.

It's not that easy. It's common in a few Asian countries but if you were to not follow the allowance... you'd get divorced. I tried to talk men out of giving money to their wives as they mismanaged them and was told they'd get divorced if he stopped.
