This is 100% accurate and on the spot documentary SASUGA!!! You really tackle all kind of topics. I'm from Philippines and I support AKB48 and various Idol groups in Japan. I'm a young Wota when I started. When I saw Japanese Idols in Japan I'm a bit surprised because almost all fans are older men. This is quite funny but it's accurate and reality of life many wota cant get a girl friend or relationship. Hahahaha Also, Thai Idols (Thailand) are becoming a thing next to J-Idols they replicate it like in Japan inspired which I also slowly transitioning to T-pop Idols. I really enjoy the pseudo-romance of Idols because you can have some chat and cheki with them and you can reach them. LOL! Ordinary Salary Ken-san.

The irony is the video is a comedy skit based on a real phenomenon. To be fair this is also true in the US, but it’s so taboo that you never see anyone admitting it. Despite the fact not long ago movies like Pretty Baby, Blue Lagoon, American Beauty, and Dirty Dancing were very popular. Books like Lolita too and artwork by Jock Sturges (which is still sold on Amazon and at book stores). Songs too with lyrics fantasying about you gírls. Walk This Way - “Schoolgirl sweetie with a classy kinda sassy Little skirt's climbin' way up the knee There was three young ladies in the school gym locker When I noticed they was lookin' at me” Good Morning Little School Girl - “Good morning little schoolgirl, can I come home with you? Tell your mama and your papa I'm a little schoolboy too” Don’t Stand So Close To Me -“Inside him, there's longing This girl's an open page Book marking, she's so close now This girl is half his age” Keep in mind this is the very short list of all the examples I can give. I just wanted to share that the taboo does exist in the US, it’s just never talked openly about anymore.

@motherhoodsbeauty92793 жыл бұрын
Can’t agree more. There will be a time when you look at a idol and she seem so fragile to you that you feel like you need to protected her, so you become her fan. Then, people are mad at you because she is not that talent compare to other girls. Then people starting bully her. Then , you start to feel like a protected mother. It’s ok to not be interested in someone because they are not that talent but cyber bully them is not ok. The The fragile girl/daughter I am talking about is Bahiyyih from Kep1er. This girl been though a lot. The most disgusting things is people think it’s ok to cyber bully her.

Yeaa, i'm watching this few days ago. I'm actually shocked that the "imperfection" of the japanese idol is actually a FEATURE, not flaws 😂 That's why the girl feels closer to you, than korean idol. THAT'S the intention. For the live show, you know, even the idol group that i loved so much in the past, didn't have that great singing in live 😅 i sometimes questioning myself, do i really want to spend time and money to watch them singing live, while their KZbin MV has FAR BETTER audio, visuals, and singing quality? 😂 So, well, if imperfection is their feature, now i really understand why. Very great video, meshida-san 👍

@@delta-a17 Not joking at all. There’s deadpan, and there’s unfamiliarity with speaking the language. I can’t fault them for that, but it does affect the delivery. The jokes are really good but the delivery will improve (convey setup and punchline more naturally) as they do more of these bits.

@daveevad35242 жыл бұрын
This is a form of comedy. An exchange of jokes while holding a deadpan face. The idea is to have be expressionless during the comedy. At best, they would be staring at and look slightly angry at the other person's sarcastic comment (faked). But at around 13:23, I think our professor cannot hold his laughter anymore and laughed a bit. This is a form of comedy style U don't see in western comedy which is always delivering the content with a lot of happy expression, even when giving sarcastic comments. From what I think, their expression would be even more deadpan and angry looking if it were to be delivered in Japanese (faked though)
