Hey bro I like your videos, being that I'm a black man living in Southeast Asia, I can say that your still in vacation mode and it's hard for you to give a honest assessment of these countries. You have not been in either place long enough for the vacation mode to where off. My suggestion is to give assessment of vacationing in these different countries not living, because I also noticed that your really don't get out deep into either place you have been. like and dislikes is very subjective, both cities r great .. for me communication is the biggest, being able to communicate with locals and making connections AND transportation. With that in mind I prefer Kuala Lumpur, it is also less chaotic. The PEOPLE tho, both countries are very kind to visitors, smiles and hellos everywhere. Overall South East Asia is great but if $ if ur top priority, definitely HCM or Vietnam in general.

People in Vietnam will slave away for you because they're a lot more in population and money could go a long way there (it's also more scarce). Malaysia is more developed and more educated by population so they'll not do the menial task themselves and definitely will not do more than what they're meant to do unless its from the kindness of their heart. It's just a matter of survivality, I guess foreigner like that because they can exploit it.

I noticed a lot of the foreign vloggers who come to SEA can be less tactful in their videos. Everytime they discuss aboout cost of living, they always use the word "cheap". It's usually not cheap for the locals. "Affordable" is a better replacement. Just a thought.

Bro, how long do you know south east asia? A few months? I lived here all my life except for a few years spent in canada. After you get past the girls, partying, drugs, ganja, drinking you enter hospitals right? By then you will think about singapore, malaysia, thailand. Yes we are more advanced. Advanced societies think about other stuff. Eg pollution control, noise control, personal safety, renewable energy, food safety. Many Vietnamese fishermen love fishing illegally in my country malaysia because they know we are rich in biodiversity and marine life. We hv arrested many and still in progress. They also went to borneo too. Catching our giant turtles using illegal nets. Indo china is still communist plus socialism like china. Look for a democracy when you choose. Just a comparison of black hair cutting style, and black parties you think you found utupia? Life is more than that.
