Please try to keep the honest truth going on your channel. Tell your opinion but it would also be better to encourage people to watch the live event on Sunday night to find out the truth directly from Dallas Jenkins. Dallas has always been very forthright in telling his fans what is going on & why. He loves the fans! I’d prefer to see opinions AFTER his explanation is given, not before. Otherwise it looks like what you are doing is click bait for controversy. I pray that’s not the case…💖🙏💖🙌☝🏻✝️

Its the love of money - unfortunately. Always under the guise of trying to "reaching more people." Many preachers have fallen into this fallacy and ended up getting a bigger audience, but fell from the truth. I hope this doesnt happen, cuz I like the Chosen - but we'll see what happens.

There is an evil agenda for lionsgate getting this show...i mean why not the whole angel studio?? Because they are after spoiling the truth to keep the masses blind of who our lord is. Its like a musician doing well with no record deal and has fans and money but signs with a label anyway for more fans and money despite now being told what to write or play by them.. thats whats happening.

Thats whats so suspicious about it all. They were probably threatened to sell out to tjem so they can keep the lords word perverted with these very crucial seasons now coming up. Where getting to the most vulnerable part of the story and they storm in outta nowhere? They arent fooling the Christian ppl who know the truth, but definitely about to be misleading people who are learning through this show. Its pathetic honestly but satan is on his last legs and very desperate so anything is game these days.

Theresa, I feel the same about all the crap going on now. I quit watching television because of the push from left agenda. Which I'm not happy about pride flag seen on set. Second the distasteful billboard's.

Agreed Theresa but Vicki you should know they are independent contractors the pride flag was on the side of a camera of One of the camera mans camera. Before Hitler made the word liberal a bad word and took away the true definition of freedom. There is no way to police independent contractors. They don't promote or support pride as a whole as a company. But they do not police as no employer should. Creative art and we forget this is still art is in the eye of the beholder. Because they do things behind their private closed doors we as Christians are to prosecute them we are to pray and keep our own personal relationships with Jesus. We forget God made us individual and how to agree to disagree and it's ok to do. I don't support the sin of homosexuality however it is not my job or yours to judge but to hold them to a certain accountability. I think those lines time and time again get blurred. We need not be Luke warm Christians by judgement. Remembering this is also a PUBLIC PRIVATELY RUN BUSINESS. Which is conflicting in itself but capitalism is why this country has the best opportunities in the world. If the end result brings more to Christ then the job was successful. If along the way they lose THEIR way we can always stop watching. But to persecute a whole show because of one gay cameraman is absurd and not Christian like. People are forgetting one's feelings do not matter and pales in comparison to the absolute solid foundation they I hate to use this word no pun intended but pride themselves on. Best regards Side note I'm not in agreement with lionsgate deal however it's not my operation or budget to try and pay employees. But at the end of the day lionsgate is still very tied into evil wood and that's many of our concerns.

Their personal lives are none of our business and NOT ONE OF THE GAY ACTORS HAVE PUSHED AN AGENDA IN ANY OF OUR FACES OR ON THE SHOW.

What makes me feel worried is that Lionsgate is a big company... big companies usually unfortunately have less care for something as a "passion project" and because they invest in so many things, they also end up cancelling things on a whim. The series might even be well funded but Lionsgate could one day decide, "nah, a Christian project doesn't work for us. Cut their funding." Then what? We won't get the series completed and it'll end up cancelled before its time. That's my fear as a worse case scenario since it's happened all too often.

I don’t think Lionsgate will be “funding” production of the show. At least Dallas has never said that. So if they decide it doesn’t “fit” their audiences, Dallas will be back to searching for a distributor to replace Lionsgate as he did with the loss of Angel Studios. After all, they were the ones to bring all this on when they dropped distribution.

@@ninawinstead8196 Thing is I get the sale happened, it's unfortunately, unavoidable in today's world of successful business....what doesn't sit right with me is this MUST have been in contract negotiations for a long time, all things like this do....and there would have been at least a 70% knowing of a successful negotiation....at the same time they were still asking for donations, that's what isn't nice, we're all average Joe's but faithful ones, who are able to give £100 at most! I think that's what is a little low, your right in that this will change it, money always will buy or change in something or a change an opinion.... especially Hollywoods. God bless 🙏

This must be what the actor who played Philip was referring to when he commented in an interview with Dallas that he "sold his soul". People donated to this series for the right reasons. I hope those reasons prevail.

The Enemy doesn’t mind the friendly Jesus who does miracles and heals people. But the Enemy hates the Jesus that died on the cross to save human souls, won the ultimate war against the Enemy, resurrected and sent the Holy Spirit. It’ll be interesting to see what happens once these event begin to happen in the Series. The timing for lionsgate is interesting to say the least. Btw, I have been a donating, pay it forward fan who buys your merchandise since day one. I’ve told everyone to watch the Chosen.

A question I heard from a pastor might apply: “When you need a lawyer or doctor, do you only work with people are saved?” Likewise, the Chosen series is doing what it feels is right. (Even Nehemiah used pagan money to do the Lord’s work and Paul used the transportation system of the Romans to spread the Gospel. All we can do is pray for everyone and leave it at that. God will handle….and has already handled the rest

I've been a regular contributor to funding both The Chosen and Come and See foundation (monthly). I understand the need to secure funding so future seasons can be made and the need to expand distribution channels. What I don't get is why I would continue to contribute to Come and See for the 'non profit stuff'...what is that, exactly? They'll either address the value those contributions have or they won't...and decisions will be made. I DO know this: God can use a donkey.

As much as I hate to say it, I am a tad bit concerned that it might not be the best sign. I know it's not directly related to the Chosen, nor is it something that has anything whatsoever to do with Dallas or the team. But if Lion's Gate owns the project, it's going to be an uphill battle to prevent some of those things from eventually influencing stuff downstream. The Chosen definitely needs our prayers. Hopefully they're able to make wise decisions and keep the show on track.

I think the silence from the big distribution company says a lot. When greed,ego and pride get involved it is never a good thing. Seasons 1-3 did great on how people watched the show and how it was filmed. Time will tell.

There is DEI already in the Chosen and this is one project that has done it correctly. It's an example for other projects to follow. So I don't think anything needs to be forced at all because they've already got it. Now if you're referring to homosexuality, the Roman world was replete with it. But I highly doubt that this show is going to go there. What would be the point for Dallas and co. to do that narratively? This is just a distribution deal. I highly doubt we have anything to worry about.

I will also add continued prayers for you and yours….regardless of what Liongate or the KZbin algorithm is doing because your work came to me during a very difficult season in my life (that I’m still in). My health has been decreasing rapidly….which logically meant I spent more time at home watching KZbin which led to the “Chosen”, Brandon Robbins ministry, and to you. I continued watching because you provide an awesome balance of content and instruction that I don’t see on KZbin. PS Adding you to my tithe list. I think it's good for the distribution of the show. Hopefully Angel Studios will still be involved somehow since they were the ones who took a chance on this crowd funded project but I'm happy it will get out to more people around the world. In the end it all comes down to money. Lionsgate wasn’t interested in The Chosen until it gained popularity because of the many folks like myself who financially underwrote the making and producing of it. They will benefit from our investment. We supported The Chosen for the purpose of touching people’s lives with the message of the Bible and Jesus. Not for any financial reward. Dallas was generous with the clips because he wanted to promote the show and the KZbin is a good place to do that. Now if the KZbinrs are flagged if they show clips of the shows then Dallas is biting the hand that fed him. I hope this will not happen.

It will happen. I follow many people who review movies and TV shows, and they absolutely do get strikes on their channels if they use clips or they get videos taken down and blocked. There are no ifs. It will happen.

IT's not all about money, It is about souls. Lionsgate is a profit for pocket organizaton. This means, people who can't afford will not see the series. The almighty dollar rules again.

If this means we get the releases in UK cinemas, if we can get the DVDs from a UK distributor and not have to pay three times as much for shipping, this would be such a good thing. I say UK because that's where I am, but the same applies to other countries too. If they make it difficult for you (and other reactors) then it affects us too. I think what you do is a complimentary ministry, it keeps the momentum of interest in the series going. If they stop that, I think the level of enthusiasm will go down between seasons with the inevitable consequence of taking time to pick up when a new season is released. I want to know how much Dallas will retain control.

I am part of the 5% and purchased countless products that I have shared with others. Hollywood just got their claws into The Chosen. I don’t think this is what God wanted Dallas to do and truly disheartened that they have pushed you out when you and Brandon Robbins with others have helped to build up the show. I don’t think so. The Erwin brothers would say something about that if it did. They were just at the K love fan awards, and talked about their upcoming movies, and the chosen was not named. I think this is going through the secular end of Lionsgate. Just read an article and I am correct. Dallas will be using Lionsgate distribution team. Kingdom stories with the Erwin brothers will not be involved. If they were, it would say kingdom stories and the Erwin brothers, but it does not.

There is a lawsuit between Angel Studios and TheChosen Inc, and there was a huge injection of money that covered production, but they are creating NEW schemes to crowdfund. KZbin won't allow me to post the link to the story. The report states that The Chosen is now mormon operated, and owned (Angel Studios). The reporter is a friend of Roumie and Jenkins; having arranged their meet with the pope. I add that to let you know this isn't a story written by MSM, but someone with a connection, and emotional interest.

Hmm, I am expecting Dallas to address these changes in his next live stream as he has in the past. Boy he stays busy! I have appreciated his surrendered heart,faithfulness and creating connections for all who love the show. His actions in the past make it comfortable for me to trust he and all those he seeks for counsel will lead the show to complete its purpose. I will pray for them and not stress. One thing to keep in mind is all the fund raising. Only the smallest fraction contribute to making The Chosen. That number does not seem to increase. Everyone wants everything free these days - including Christians. If The Chosen needs the funding, but no one wants to contribute, then expect this and more

No, the Christian end of Lionsgate kingdom stories distributed Jesus revolution. Lionsgate them selves didn’t have a hand in it other than approving it. Jesus Revolution is under kingdom stories, and the Erwin Brothers. King of stories has their own KZbin channel and it’s not mixed with Lionsgate. Kingdom stories is a studio developed and created by the Erwin brothers, and they partnered with Lionsgate but the content is completely separate from Lionsgate stuff.

Yeah, I subscribed recently liking what I've seen of his content, but the title picture with $$$, the expression and the word Bought does sort of define clickbait. I don't know if he's done a lot of clickbait previously, but having googled what's actually going down, I don't think the title text is really fair. Unfortunate... Guess everyone/everything is about clicks & views.

I really am skeptical of the term non profit, as someone who worked alongside of many "non-profit" organizations I can attest to the fact that there is no such thing, they definitely profit, they pay hundreds of thousands of dollars for their execs and very little actually goes to the people they are supposed to be helping. They perform a good service to some and that's good but it is all about the money in the end, so do your research before you give your support them find out if they actually do what they profess to do.

They aren't nonprofit. He has said that over and over since I started watching in 2020. The Come and See is, and was started in my experience for translating and going to places in the world not otherwise available.

The Chosen was built on viewer support financially, thru loyalty to watch and word of mouth. Once The Come and See Foundation entered the picture I became skeptical, and lost interest in paying it forward and buying " merch". I noticed this season Amanda was not around much and things started seeming different from seasons 1 & 2. Regarding Lionsgate, they are exactly what Dallas has expressed a benefit about not being involved with all this time, a big corporation providing funding. Imho hard to see this being anything but a financial move on Lionsgate part to benefit monetarily. Was it necessary to go this route? Time will tell, God is still in control, if it continues to honor Him, it will work out if not, it will become evident fairly quickly. Dallas has a lot on his shoulders, I just hope he hasn't relinquished control of the project. To that means what is seen will be more evident than what is heard. Praying they don't shut down outlets like this and Grafted as a result of Lionsgate moving in. Dallas has allowed these outlets to exist because they furthered the show in getting the word out about it. If these get turned off, based on these sites not being a problem in the past The Chosen will be turned off in our house.

Shalom Colleen Fisher Corvallis ORegon, I think that it is just another tool in Gods tool box to reach out to more people to get His word out and increase His herd of sheep and lambs. I also see it as a way for The Chosen to also get more money to be able to continue their productions. I would hope that will also help to continue to fund other Bible Stories to all of us. The income will help keep providing The Chosen free to those of us who can not afford to pay to see it in theaters, but then it also gives those of us that can aford to see it at those special times to do that too.

Hollywood may not take over the production but they may take the distribution and pull it off themarket in the future. This may be a short sighted decision. Disney has the rights to certain things that they bought and restrict Christmas content to a very narrow scope

The problem is that big studios often have "notes". If their money is involved, they usually want the ability to interfere. That spells trouble.

It’ll depend on how they work copyright. If they’re like Viacom, for example, then commentary on the show will be very difficult if not impossible if clips and music from the show are used. Many companies like Viacom, universal, and others have caused issues for many people I follow that want to use clips in music. I don’t have much hope that Lion’s Gate won’t be the same way. It will be trial and error, but most likely, channels like this will have to find a workaround to avoid copyright strikes. I would say that channels commentating on the show need to go on ahead and come up with an alternative plan.

It's a non-exclusive contract. That means that The Chosen can always go to another distributor. Lionsgate has no power in this deal.

If they screw over the KZbin content creators that have basically been giving free advertisement for 4 years for the chosen it's going to make me a little upset. I rely on these creators to explain the deeper meanings of the first-century culture and Judaism. They give the whole show and much deeper richer meaning. And if they start copyright striking and doing other things to discourage KZbin creators that is not right because they deliberately came to each of you and gave you money and invested in you and gave you content. If they let Lionsgate mess with your content now I'm going to be very disappointed. That's the only part of this whole thing that I'm really worried about is whether everything is going to be in the movie theater now so we have to wait and are they going to ruin my connection to KZbin creators that are helping me have a deeper connection with Jesus and God. It would be so wrong after encouraging all of you for this deal to hurt you guys now.

I teach a bible class in my church, and I absolutely love bringing up the Chosen as referencing, and showing clips. Obviously that is not on KZbin, but it would make me sad if we aren't able to do that with teaching anymore.

It seems wrong and too worldly to not allow you or others who have supported The Chosen since the beginning to continue in the same way. As well as the other Christian film projects that you brought light to that followed after the success of The Chosen. We need you! The fans need your input insight thoughts and clarity etc. You are a part of the success of these innovative Christian films and will be with the others to follow. Hopefully the grassroots type of relationship between The Chosen, its fans and all the other aspects of the show remains the same, including your fun analysis of the series. All these things are part of the charm of the show, however, when only 5% of the fan base pay it forward, I always wonder if the show can financially sustain 7 seasons. This will hopefully help that aspect of the production.

Perhaps the question we need to ask is: What is sub-licensing? And How much power does a distributor have over production? Can they refuse or limit distribution based on product content?

I wouldn't throw the baby out with the bath water. I still use this program when people are confused about jesus or start saying the silly jesus was a xxx I'm like have you seen the chosen based on jesus life according to the bible. It helps those that are just told all about jesus from atheists when they haven't completely rejected God yet. Use the program to help spread the gospel some people have no interest in the bible so get jesus out there however you can.

Totally agree! I got to the beginning of season 2 and began feeling disturbed by the "just one of the guys" portrayal of Jesus. I couldn't get past it. Thank you Holy Spirit for your discernment. I sincerely pray that fellow brothers and sisters in Christ learn that Mormonism and overlooking sin (homosexuality) is NOT what it means to follow Christ and that compromise is not ok with our sovereign Lord. 🙏

Hey, really enjoy your content and Biblical insight into everything 'Chosen.' If I were you, I would begin planning to work around or begin building your content in a way that it won't be affected by the Lionsgate move. In other words, be proactive. You have a heart for Christ and his Gospel message, so twist the channel to be more centered there. I don't mean to say you are not already Christ-centered, but encourage you to make 'The Chosen' just more of a refence point than a focus point. I would always still be interested in your insight and follow for what God is telling you about scripture. We will all still love 'The Chosen,' but maybe it's the moment you trust God to be a more independent voice to teach 'The Snipe Life,' brother ;-) Blessing and prayers as you navigate this and please know I intend this as encouragement, not critique. We look forward to season 4 with you.

I pray viewers come to recognize the plethora of issues with the show, and all those involved. This is just another HUGE issue, and just as usual, the show and their devout viewers continue to defend them. History declares, Dallas has routinely pursued fame and fortune and has routinely "Yoked" himself to unbelievers and heretics. Seemingly anything, to make the dollar, and establish himself in the mainstream. Always repeating the argument, "Does it really matter who you hire to make it happen"? Yes! Of course, it does! If you suggested that God Himself told you, your characters would be how people come to "Visualize" Jesus and His friends, would you go out and hire unbelievers and those who preach a false gospel? How do those who don't know the "Authentic Jesus", present the "Authentic Jesus"? Would you then create an ad campaign using heretic actors portraying Lucifer and demons to reach young viewers? Would you cross out "Binge Jesus" on your own billboards, and replace it with Salad? Would you declare Mormons worship the same Jesus because it's their money making it happen? Would you hire an Atheist lead writer? Would you fly LGBTQ flags on set, then suggest the Biblical Christians that find this Biblically problematic are "Haters". That those who would make any statement of accountability are "Haters"? They're currently dealing with another lawsuit regarding millions of dollars given to them, that they withheld from the viewers for more than a year and a half. without revealing it to the public who have been told the show is "Crowdfunded". This is, just as it appears, another sell-out, in pursuit of the dollar. Once again, the show is deceptive. It's not about false judgment! Those of us who have made statements of accountability the last few seasons desired the best, prayed for Dallas and all those involved; and I would assert, have been "Long-suffering" concerning the continuous poor judgment of the show. Their actions speak for themselves. Let us be honest; if Dallas was ever in charge of the show's direction, he is no longer. They will do, what they're told. We will see the libbing up, and the woke agenda, as is happening. We will continue to see the actors take part in other roles portraying heretical individuals, as we are currently. "You will know them by their fruit"! Respectfully, if you're paying attention and being honest, their fruit is rotten, and they're taking advantage of well-intentioned viewers. Derral declared in his book, this project was about reaching the Evangelical community. Why would that be desired by a Mormon? It should be clear. Dallas yoked himself to Lucifer when he yoked himself to theologies that have led billions to the pit. Who reject who Christ is, who reject one is saved through grace alone, in Christ alone. Heartbreaking, but honest. If our Lord tells us not to do this, then no "Argument" being made, is valid. He means what He said! Do not yoke yourself to non-believers!! The question isn't, "Would you buy a Bible from a non-believing printer, presenting you with a Bible"? It is, "Would you buy a Bible from a printer that admits, that 95% of what they have printed, is fiction, and not the "Authentic, Word of God", while at the same time declaring they're presenting the "Authentic" Word of God?

It drives me crazy some of the content creators can do it and they don't touch their monetization and then someday cherry-pick out and you get copyright strikes right away it doesn't make any sense when they allow you to review videos on and from the platform. It drives me crazy too.
