The TRUTH about living in a TINY HOUSE // Full Time RV Family // Tall people in a Tiny House 6'5"

Living in a tiny house has been a dream of ours for a long time. We started decluttering in 2015 and downsizing our belongings. Our plans and path have changed so much over the past years.
This is my take on the TRUTH about living in a tiny house!
We originally wanted to build a shipping container house but could not find land we wanted to live on for an extended period. Then we looked at authentic tiny houses, but the cost and size/weight were not something we wanted at the moment. We want to stay portable. That's how we decided on an RV that we call our tiny house. Living in a tiny house has caused us to truly dig deep into our relationship and focus on what matters.
We have the freedom to travel and enjoy life without the constraints of a large house. It works for us in this stage of life.

From the 6 year old... funny. Love your house. You should show an outside of your house. Scariest aspect... I’m 6’8” and built like Andre the Giant. Minimalism is fairly easy. Small living no so much.

Very true! I could see if just 1 inch taller my perspective would be much different. Would have had to custom build super tall.

My husband and I downsized to an one bedroom apartment (we have one child), and we are spending less money. However, I fear not enough outside activities and not sharing of duties will cause to much conflict if we go any smaller.
