Bought two. Company wasted weeks asking for videos of faults etc. Then said talk to sales and they tried to contradict everything and just get rid of me. Main problem that one might not realise at first is that bikes wear down and when you do have a problem the worst thing you can have is a situation where the supplier has no interest in after sales. Avoid this company.

Interesting. To be fair, it's asking a lot to design this and get it right without a ton of r&d. I read somewhere that Bosch sunk... well my memory tells me £2 billion ... that is surely more than it was? But anyway, difficult to compete when the the battery specs are changing all the time. Then again, £1000 is not nothing.

I got my D11 about 10 days ago. I did use it twice. I don't have any quality issues so far. I found your review is fair especially the part of different speed modes. So, people complain about the motor is not strong is correct. But I did not pay for a premium bike. I just paid a budget ebike and I got a budget ebike.

*this one has issues with the seat post breaking. It can't be unlocked and it's slow, small motor. D4s is better, has more torque and can go up to 35kph* D4s is only 18 kg as well *I just added a 12ah battery in parallel to my d4s and get 90kms range on mostly throttle* People. In the fiido group are selling this one to get a different bike.. They're not happy with it. So not worth 1000 bucks.

Fiido's pedal assist is the worst I've ever seen! It's not pedal assist actually, it just detects that you are pedaling (after quite some time actually because it's very slow) and it just gives full power!! no matter what assist gear/mode you 're on.. assist gears/modes only define different cut-off speeds for the motor so it stops when you reach that speed.. just awful!

Many will disagree of course that for $1K this e-bike is worth the money. In this price range majority of the foldable, step-through even e-bike will outperform this otherwise European art design. As with cars this e-bike will not have a visible market since Americans want power, performance, especially in variety of terrains and grades. And this pretty e-bike will not deliver, since it’s el. system is underpowered, lack of suspensions, lack of 20x3” wheels/tire width, too compact tight frame for toll riders and most importantly it’s not a universally convenient step-through for all ages and ability frame. The disappointment is also learning that it’s assembled in China, and in the same time considering high quality?

I don’t want more consumers to be forced into unfair purchases. It's surprising how this trade is thriving in Europe. Below is the customer service reply regarding after-sales and returns: --- **Customer Service Response Email:** "Regarding returns, there are no quality issues involved, and the e-bikes are larger and heavier. Therefore, in case of a return: - If the bike has not been taken out of the box, you will only need to pay approximately 200 euros for shipping fees both ways. - If the bike has been taken out of the box and test ridden, we will deduct 30% of the depreciation cost from the refund. The above costs will be subtracted from the refund amount. Once we receive the returned parcel, we will calculate and provide you with a partial refund. If possible, we encourage you to keep the e-bike and contact us to receive a partial refund of 30 euros."

Good luck if you puncture the back tire. I did on my first ride and there is no easy way to remove the tire. You can't disconnect the motor cable, like many e-bikes, unless you do it from the controller box and take ALL the cables out. Maybe you could check it out to see if you find a better way? Fiido support weren't helpful and they were aware of the issue. Bad design. Thanks!

Bikes like D11 are below 20kg and more suitable for hauling up stairs in subway stations and getting with the flow in rush hours… The few kilos make a big difference. 24kg is like the checked luggage limit for planes; it’s basically impossible to lift it for an extended period of time.
