Every once and a while the youtube algorithm will give you a gem and this is one of them. I visited Scotland last year for the first time and I absolutely fell in love with the country (I love your accent!) So I couldn't imagine anyone wanting to leave such a wonderful place, but then I'm reminded on when I moved thousands of miles away from everyone I had ever known. It didn't matter how "great" home was, I needed to get away and it's the single greatest decision I've ever made. My one piece of advice would be to embrace the "loneliness", learning to only depend on yourself will make you a stronger person. Eventually you'll be able to fae and deal with whatever made you leave home in the first place. Enjoy your life, make new friends and make mistakes! And remember, you're never truly alone friend!!

This is the first video I’ve seen on your channel thanks to the algorithm recommending me this. Thanks for giving everyone insight on what’s going on with your life. You know, I actually feel this same way with Puerto Rico where I think moving there will solve a majority of my problems, and it’s weird because I’m facing some grievances of not being around my family while I’m in NY. Things change with time. Seeing my brothers, sisters grow older, experiencing new things, getting smarter, and getting taller than me lol. And all that is happening without me. it all makes me feel like I’m missing something truly important in life that no amount of moving will help me find. That being said, in your situation, I hope things get better. Call your family, tell them how much you care about them and stuff like that. I’m not good with advice but I can sympathize with you. Ganbare.

Thank you for you very lovely comment ☺ It's such a weird feeling to move away and miss home but also not actually wanting to be home. It's something I don't think people talk about enough. I also hope things get better for you too and I hope I can continue to be an outlet and distraction for you as I continue to open up and share my experiences. Your comment has really touched me, thank you so much ❤

I started listening to your podcast a while back but I have fell behind for a while. This episode got me right back into it. It’s really refreshing to hear you speak on these feeling that I think a lot of people can relate to but have a hard time validating, themselves. I hope things have gotten better, peaks and valleys.

Just came across your vid, I resonate highly with how you pick your brain with blatantly real introspection, while still being slightly random😂. Im about to be 23 and I don’t got it all figured either. I take it that this part of most people’s lives is full of trial and error. Pure intention and moral grounding will help us weather most storms. From what I can see, I like your company. Keep up the yappin cuz Im subscribed👏🏽😁

hahahahahahhaha, I spend a lot of my time examining my thoughts and feelings which is a good thing and a bad thing😅. this is such an odd time where we're supposed to feel grown up but we're not and a time where we watch a lot of peers start their careers etc. and there is such an unbelievable amount of pressure. It's nice to connect with others who feel the same! I really appreciate your comment and I am so glad that you liked the episode, it pushes me to keep doing more ☺

@@giftofthegabpc I'm 24 trying to figure things out. I can tell you that most of the cases people just chose one carreer path and then sticks to it even if it is shiiiiiiet. I'm trying to move to a direction that will make me happier but I don't know wat to do and don't want to chose a shit job that I will have to stick to it for the rest of my life because I need to fuking eat to survive. Life is hard brothers, hope we all find our own meaningfull path

@@marcgiroag I completely understand you. It's shit that people have to stick out jobs that they are unhappy in because that's what they need to do to survive. It's not easy for people and it's a total graft to get by. It's tough and some are more privileged than others in life and get to do what makes them happy without having to worry too much about money. I have been very lucky compared to others and I hope one day I can give back as much as I was given when I was growing up. I hope you find your happiness and the direction that you want to follow. I moved to Australia from Glasgow back in November for pretty much the exact same reasons as you, even though I've been staying with family and I've met heaps of Scots and its been great, I've still got that inkling feeling of being so far away from home and missing everything and everyone and for me even though its been 2 months it feels like it's been about 6 already😆 totally understand everything you're going through but obviously it's all part of the process of bigger things happening for us and we'll all get there together 😁🙌

honestly I really needed to hear that hahahahaa thank you so much. I really feel like I've been here for ages and I feel so out of place. SO exciting that you're in Australia though! That is a long way from home. And you are so right, it's all part of the process of bigger things!!!💘

Something you said is very important. Just because you move doesn't mean everything is great. Everywhere you go you take yourself with you. You have to be happy with yourself and that takes work. Just discovered this channel. Subbed. Will watch more. :)
@giftofthegabpc10 ай бұрын
It's so true, you take yourself with you, you don't leave you behind. That's why it's better to deal with things rather than run away, which in a small way is what I think I've done! I'm so glad you like the video 😁
