I’ve got my engineering and she’s doing law, so we would get in, a fancy it but she doesn’t as she thinks once the ‘holiday feel’ of it has wore off the novelty would soon set in and want home, a can’t see me bringing Ma wains up here as the place is a riot.

Sorry, but I don't think you are aware of how difficult it is for a foreigner to find a job in the mining industry in Australia. I'd dare to say it's rather unlikely for a foreigner as per today.

by the way , you are not a dope you could easily upskill. you could be a doctor in 7years but it takes work, application and obeying the rules.maybe a doctor is not for you but a saurveyer, lawyer or what suits. you are still young . do something....
