Thanks for sharing your experience. I've seen a lot of people share their Covid experiences on tiktok but less on youtube so this was a good find. It's a couple months later and we now know that we're in the worst summer surge since the pandemic started at least in the U.S. I hope you're feeling better and don't have any lingering symptoms.
@DerekChaiMedia2 ай бұрын
Hey, I hope you're safe. I have read a lot about the surge in the US, but it's like hardly anybody cares. You know, we can still live our lives freely but at the same time, protect those who are at high risk of getting really sick if they catch it, but many choose not to worry about that, which is the main thing that makes me sad. I'm physically mostly better. I still get really cold from time to time, but there's just something persisting that I can't really explain. It's like something is different, but more mentally than anything. Take care.

Well I got it last week too, but I do live on my own. I just worry about my cats. I didn’t have to isolate in my house because I’m the only one here. But man I was miserable for like 3-4 days. Lost my sense of smell. Got a very bad sore throat which I controlled by doing warm water and salt gargles. I also was feeling cold and had body aches and pain. Had a little temp 99-101 but nothing a Tylenol wouldn’t handle. Now I’m just sitting here waiting for my sense of smell to come back

Thanks for sharing. I've been protecting myself too and have been safe but my daughter who lives away just got it after 4 yrs from her son who got it from school. Her son had minor symptoms and was good after a day ir two, but she has been slammed by extreme fatigue, sore body, tightening of chest for a week, but she's getting better. It's not a cold as some may think, and even with a mild case you can experience symptoms weeks or months later. My daughter didn't lose her taste or smell, and from what I read, i told her mot to do anything strenuous for a few months. Glad you're better and i agree with you that people are selfish. Did you get it from work? Do you mask?

Hi. Yes, it's a good idea that she takes it easy for a little while. Yes, I picked it up from work. Do you know how most of the time you know exactly what you did and how you got it? Well, I mask the whole time except when I eat lunch in the office. That's probably how, and I think it's because it lingers in the air because I don't eat when somebody else is in there. I 100 percent agree with you that this is no mild cold. Things linger, and you don't even know why. Take care of yourself.
