Udemy has a ton of great courses on marketing. I know, you didn’t say anything about marketing but that is what you are doing. In your case, yourself but all marketing principles still apply. Seo, keyword research, how to use them in thumbnails , titles and descriptions, tags….it all matters. Contrary to all the knuckleheads that say it doesn’t, it DOES. You can even find courses specific to KZbin or if you wish there are much broader courses available that cover most every angle of marketing which is what I would suggest. Udemy doesn’t cost much and now that I’ve been through a couple courses myself, both specific and broad, I can point out channels that are using proper seo and marketing strategy and those that aren’t. Contrary to popular belief, the whole “algorithm” everybody speaks of is NOT selective to the point of I like this guys voice over another. It is however HEAVILY dependent on relevance. Yep there it is again, seo. That’s not to say you don’t have to have a flow and know how to keep your retention up. That also matters and it’s a lot to know but if you want something to change, change something. Go to Udemy, check them out and take some courses. You’ll be glad you did. No more stabbing in the dark waiting on the invisible algorithm to one day magically pick one of your vids out of thin air to select as the next great thing. Know what you know because you took the time to know it and be confident in your direction. Looks like you e done the hard part. Take a few minutes a day for some classes. Good vid by the way. The shitty answer, I guess,is just find a better job,but there are none left in my area. So what do I do?
