One of my favorite parts about this show was the fact that as it gradually played itself out you became more and more able to see when Norman wasn't Norman anymore. The actor did a very good job at using his eyes at any given moment to let us know that well... he wasn't Norman at the time lol

I love this series. And there are times you just want to shake Norma, she's so stubborn, always tries to control every situation..the red flags are there loud and clear and almost up until the very end, she chooses to be in denial...and burdening norman with all her trauma,like telling him before he goes to the dance with Emma that her brother raped her for years and doing things like allowing your grown son to sleep with you....you get the feeling that deep down she doesn't realize the damage she is doing and really does think everything will be OK. So as enraged you may get with her, she has a vulnerability which makes you very sympathetic to her Character. She makes me mad but i can't stay mad at her lol

That shelf scene reminded me of The Simpsons episode in which Maggie hits Homer over the head with a mallet, but it may be just a similarity. It couldn't be a reference from The Simpsons as Bates Motel aired far after that scene from T. S., and I don't imagine a horror series to be referencing a comedy show. However the similarity is interesting.
@yaguarete794 жыл бұрын

El único hijo que le salió normal a Norma fue Dylan, y fue justo el que fue abandonado por ella, echado de la casa, y todo por pagar con una culpa de que no era suya, sólo por ser hijo de su hermano que abusó de ella.
