yeah - I think she is trying to relate her own experiences to the guest. Seems like people take it as she is trying to one up the guest and personally I don't get that vibe at all. She is having fun with talking with the guest - that is what comes thru to me.

It’s still that way today. I have friends who are both attorneys and they are married. When they had a child they made the decision the husband would stay home. People were stunned. In 2015 he was mocked for taking a break from his career to stay home with their daughter.

I had never heard of her and don’t even know if her comedy would be my type, but I really love that she believed in herself when no one else, including her husband did. I have to say after the Megan incident, Heather has really made an effort to listen more, inquire more and allow her guests to expound on their thoughts. I always saw it as Heather bring excited about the topic and keeping the show moving so that all the topics can be covered, but I can see how it can be interpreted as interrupting or not listening to her guest. I've also noticed if I just listen to the audio podcast, it seems like Heather isn't listening or reacting to her guests, but when you watch it on KZbin, she smiles and laughs "silently" and her guests. She is more interactive and responsive to her guests when you watch the video.

I'm not sure when this was taped but after the events of the last few weeks why would Heather again have one of these interviews where the guest CANNOT finish their stories? at some points Heather was almost yelling over Leanne to continue interrupting her as Leanne had raised her voice a bit to try and finish her story. i do like Heather and this podcast alot but i can't take the amount of unawareness she has. it was painful to listen to Leanne be so humble and try to get on with the interview and have Heather continuously cut her off.
