I just watched your trailcam video where it started to snow and as you checked the trailcams it snowed harder and soon you were covered and I started to be slightly afraid for you out there alone!😮 And then the wolves started howling! Not just one but several! Yikes!!😮. I thought is he ever going to find his cabin? But finally you stumbled to where you saw the light! That was heatrtwarming for me!😅

Iam 82 and live with our kids in Idaho but went to Alaska 20 years ago and built a cabin well off the grid and loved it. Had to come back home and cut firewood and handle the snow. But we loved it . Keep it up Life slows down and enjoy it Thanks.

Sounds like a great love story :) There is nothing like the feel Of FREEDOM in the woods, I am Only on 10 acres here in Alberta 100% off grid for the last 11 years, It was a struggle the fist few but got easier as the years go on :) I'm OK with some of our new tech these days, You hit the nail on the head it needs to be kept real ! I was only able to start sharing my journey 3 years ago, Building, fishing& camping, A little gardening, Road trips & winter lots of firewood with the old tools that I have to use, It's a little work with the back injuries I had but I have to keep moving so this is a good exercise program lol, Take care you guy's we will catch you again"

Sorry you missed that part of our videos, where we mention "welcome to Cabin Life where we share our experiences around the *_homestead which is partially on grid_* and our off grid cabin" With so many new viewers, we wanted to ensure them of our open transparency and wouldn't want to create any false impressions. It's so easy for viewers to 'assume' stuff. We do live here on our 40 acres FULL time and a great deal of that time is at our off grid cabin. Perhaps it's time to re-iterate that on upcoming videos.
