My first lesson was, you spend more time keeping others on the road than yourself. Four years strong.

I've wanted to start my own bike shop for years. I have over 25 years experience working on bikes. I would have liked to hear from the interviewees. This was still interesting. Thank you.

For someone who's still studying and does not really know what to do with his life (me), this is really motivational. Zach, your videos are great!

I remember one time Dave not only promised to refund my money if his work was bad, but also to shave off his eyebrows... that's service... Retrogression is a great shop run by great people

ive heard that up to 70 percent of bicycle shop owners have a secret apartment in the back where they give kids wine and banana splits. I saw that at the end of a very special Different Strokes episode.

I'm 54 and have been in many great trades, recently injured my back in the ( Construction Industry) and now looking to go back to work in bike shops. I feel like the most common thread in my life has always been the bicycle and I want to take the chance of going back to the start and taking a pay cut for passion.

bicycling is simple... if the coast is clear move... if cars are coming dont... sometimes i just sit at red lights in the bike lane to catch a breather... really it comes down to complete situational awareness.. keep your head on a swivel and stay safe... the rest is the freedom of riding

People confuse the word entrepreneur with creating a job for themselves. Entrepreneurship is finding a need on the market an opportunity having a vision not physically working 80 hours and creating more job for themselves. I see a lot of those mistakes in the construction industry and or Restaurants.

A bit too much overdone "hard"-work is not to build a bike-company this is very far from being "hard", hard work is when you do mining somewhere in africa and the work is so hard you die in 5-10 years Only because of doing this work - so lets respect people doing really work HARD and who are already fucking dead because they have worked hard and did never see much money for doing so and other people do get rich by standing on their rotten bones.
