I remember a teacher sending us home telling us to buy a usb within 2 days, I remember walking to a nearby electronic store, walking inside finding the usb section and chosing one for the amount of money I had, I went to the desk and paid for it and went home afterwards where my parents where waiting for me to come home, that was my first time going to a 'far away' store and purchasing something on my own, it was a PNY USB, it was in 2002.

I was torn as well. Went with 4070ti super proart from 3070 EVGA and I'm glad I didn't wait. I didn't expect Luke Ross mods and UEVR to clear up so well. It really depends on your current gpu.

depends what ur doing. 4080-s seems best atm. Price dropped considerably over past 2 months outshining the 4090 on performance/price ratio by a strong margin. its like 25% more performance, but 40-50% more price...defs do not get 4090 at this point...wait for 50s series if ur going that route - waaayy overpriced, and still more expensive than its original retail price... i dont think its worth getting 4070ti super, but it will be great for most applications - the 4080-s is not much more, and its got a solid 20% more performance. the price/performance ratio is good. but if ur not doing crazy gaming/VR it'll be fine - again depends what ur doing... for me doing PCVR - im about to pull the pin on 4080-s...cos i cant wait any longer to upgrade my 3080 lol - playing some heavily modded fallout/skyrim...it should work swimmingly near or at max with heavy mods vs right now at medium/low with good fps. and then longer term waiting for 50s to pan out...

I saw on Amazon a lot of reviews say they have a terrible fan controller where it ramps up heavily and they can’t control it even through a fan curve on software on the 40 series. Not sure how true it is or if it’s just a select few that are a bad batch. I would go with them cuz they cheaper than msrp but those reviews concern me.

I just installed a 650w PSU and a PNY 4060 for a family member last night. His PNY 4060 would absolutely ramp up to 100% fan speed and then back down to nothing. Their fan curve without software is absolutely god awful. Seen people here and there saying the same thing then others say theirs is fine. I believe it's a few here and there but it's still extremely disappointing that a 2 fan 4060 is 2x louder than my ASUS Rog Strix 3070 (3fan)

There's this skepticism that they're bad. From what I've seen they're good. Just don't have the hype that msi or asus cards do lol. Make sure u have warranty for any gpu u may buy cuz they can all fail no matter the company. Unless the company has a rep of failing, like asus all of a sudden

I currently have a 4070 Ti XLR8 Epic -X RGB and XLR8 gaming 32GB DDR 4- I undervolted the 40470Ti to .900 ( the stock is .950 I think ) with the same clock speed as stock with a flat line after that so it doesn't boost beyond that ( with MSI afterburner ) runs at 80 watts less, lower temps, very efficient card

Genuinely was struggling with which RTX 4070 TI SUPER to go with and have PNY's VERTO and XLR8 models available for the same price locally (cheapest available). Your video reassured me that it's a good brand and I especially liked the software functionality. Some manufacturer's software sucks. The per-LED lighting controls are gonna be bliss. Just placed an order for the XLR8 and I'm very excited! Thank you for taking the time to give some proper info on the brand and background.

If you get a brand new 4080 super, do you also need to replace your PSU? My PSU doesn't have a slot in it for a 12v connection, It is about 3 years old, so I want to know do I need a new PSU if I want to get the new 4080 supper?

If it is good quality with enough watt and "3" pcie cables usually u can use an adapter.

Been looking for different gpu models for a week now, started with asus, then looked at gigabyte, but now I think those are the best choice. They look clean and black, the components (VRMs and Coolers) are better then the Asus and Gigabytes, and they are the most affordable, at the same time. And since I left my RGB on white for the most time anyways, its a fine colour, the illuminated logo on the standard verto variant is not a downside, IMO.

I'm interested in PNY 4080 Super XLR8 but I'm just worried about something I read and heard about it. Fan issues, coil wine, and software mainly. Anyone had any issues like that? I'm considering either XLR8 or MSI 4080 Super Gaming X Slim. I have MSI card right now and it's been serving me well enough. Although it has some light coil wine.

Bought my 4090 from them last year in April and haven’t had any issues with the fans but I will admit the software is pretty bad. It did have coil whine for a couple months but it’s gone away completely. Never had any other issues with it though and it’s well built and beefy. The design of the card is kinda meh though but I bought it cause of the MSRP price and the fact that PNY has been a long time official partner of Nvidia and being based out of the US is nice.

Do the preddy lights do anything useful like monitor and reflect the systems temperature and reflect it green for cool red for worry? Or do they have an off switch. I like gaming. If I wanted preddy lights I'd by $25 Xmas ones, not a $4000nzd pc. But hey, if that's your thing go for it :- ). Nice to see, we can finally get plain. But warning is useful. And saved my Rs a time or two all it needs is an alarum to grab the attention. Been wondering about this lot. Shied away because I knew nothing about them. And unknowns are rife with dangerous possibilities. It would/will be nice to be able to buy a stock standard I don't like stressing the pc. If it can't handle it easily I want one that will. My fil os ofy on cars, get the one that does what you want it to. The temps these days, does my head in. Plus adding water to an electrical device with a pump that WILL, leak just a matter of when.????????? Yep you guess it old real old, ZX80A old, (Tandy zx80 era. But Aussy) 386 sx old. Feel like setting DLSS to auto is definitely going easy on it, tbh. I'm in the "no blurry BS" club though and can't stand upscaling or *any* anti-aliasing (tAA being the actual worst thing to ever happen in gaming tech, imo.) But yeah, i don't feel like DLSS on benchmarks are very insightful for anything?

Why tho why is dual gpu now obsolete. Doesn’t make sense unless they’re just trying to get more money for there most expensive cards. Say you combined 2 4070s it would probably perform better then 1 4090 for cheaper price is the only reason I can think of

I own a PNY RTX4080 super. Temperatures and performance are ok in games, even power consumption is acceptable. In games, the temperatures reach a maximum of 68 C. But when I turn on the benchmark, the consumption goes up to 320 W, and then the temperatures jump over 76 C and the hotspot 98 C, which is the worst result in the competition. Never buy it again.

Just bought PNY 4080 Super XLR8 epic. I have to say im more than impressed. The cooler is very heavy and thick compared to many other cards. Fans doesnt even spin on light loads. It is the quietest video card I have ever own. Overclocking potential is of course very good, because the cooler is so much better than standard models.

I own two PNY RTX4090s. I prefer the PNY RTX4090 Verto non-XLR8 cards because they are exactly 3 slot cards and fit in more Cases than the longer & thicker PNY XLR8 RTX4090. If you want RGB it won't fit in some of the popular itx cases.

I have a 4070 Super Verto OC and saw this video. My first self-built computer in almost 2 decades. I like it a lot, amazing performance. I did notice some coil whine at times, but it is still not loud at all and nothing that bothers me when pushing the gpu.

My GeForce 8800 GT was a PNY. Went that way after abandoning ATI after repeated card failures. I’ve always liked them. Also used to buy their RAM and still buy their thumb drives. It seems their pricing has been less than competitive over the last 10 years or so or else I’d have bought something big from them. I know they make good stuff though.

you cannot blame people for believing pny gpu's are crap or lesser or substandard in some way or another because pny has ALWAYS been known as the cheap brand because they have always made products that are cheaply made, substandard plastics, as little as possible of whatever costs money in a product, just cheaping out on whatever the product is. so of course when it comes to graphics cards people are going to think DUH they very likely do exactly the same producing this as they have in the past with so so many of their products. my point is they earned this general perception, its not out of nowhere or for no reason, so dont pretend it is.
