Wow just Wow, reminds me of the time I was in hospital after Surgery and My Boss sent a Co - Worker to see if I was really in hospital & had had surgery !! One of Many Abdominal Surgeries until I eventually had a hysterectomy. Princess Catherine should be able to recuperate without all the Bull Dust surrounding Her, The Media and those that Don't wish her well.

Anyone who has had major abdominal surgery understands why she is not being seen in public, why she is spending time on photoshop herself (and making mistakes), etc. I didn’t leave the house for 6 weeks, looked absolutely horrendous when I did, and anyone who thinks a royal wants to be seen all hunched over, holding her stomach still, walking slowly with assistance … well, frankly, you can’t even understand the psyche of a woman, much less someone who is continually photographed. I hated everyone looking at me wondering what was wrong. Give her some space and kindness, please. She’ll reappear when she feels confident and back up to par.

Everyone responds differently to major abdominal surgery, depending on prior physical and mental health conditions, i.e., a fit person, who is athletic as Catherine has been all her life, would do the best, IF there was an outstanding surgeon, and no serious complications, at the time of surgery or after. Of course, sedentary people, and those who are out of shape, and, perhaps, overweight, or elderly, with less capable surgeons, and the stress of monetary or employment concerns would have extra burdens. That said, I had an oophorectomy, with a wrapped bowel situation, at 33 years old, with two small children, with emergency surgery performed by the best cancer surgeon in the U.S. at the time. Other than finding, less than 48 hours post surgery, in hospital, that all pain killers caused convulsions, and that bleeding was, perhaps, an extra issue, the days in the hospital were spent immediately, hours after surgery, walking the halls with an I.V. and watched and monitored, constantly, by an outstanding nursing crew. Another two weeks of full nanny care for my young children, who were staying with me, at a well-equipped hotel near the hospital that specialized in post surgical guests, we stayed there, as a family, until we could all return home to another city. Hence, w/n 10 days of returning home, 5 weeks after major surgery (and still awaiting tissue biopsy results), the children and I marched, with the rest of the small city where we lived, in the Halloween Parade, in costumes, as cowgirls and a leprechaun. Other than not lifting anything over ten pounds, which ruled out picking up the children (who understood, even at their young ages), every other home activity (except swimming and tennis) were open to me, even golf, and walking miles in one day, cleaning my home, making simple meals for all (not much of a cook), and driving my children to their own activities -- with a short nap added on some days. Of course, once the biopsies were back, and the sutures had dissolved, the clamps removed, and hormones prescribed and regulated, then, by six weeks, I was back to tennis and swimming...and fully recovered, except for the ugly, healing, scar, of almost a foot, vertically, on the abdomen. Well, other than giving up bikinis and going into wearing one piece swim suits, life and health, with fortunate circumstances, allowed for even more energy and better health than for years prior to the surgery. Therefore, we're all different. However, since Catherine was even more fit and athletic, with very fortunate circumstances, allowing for the very best care, medically and personally, one would not expect that her situation, if she really had the stated abdominal surgery alone, would require such an extensive "leave" from her duties and the total "Greta Garbo" style retirement and hiding from the public eye... After a hysterectomy, it can actually take up to 6 months to regain full strength. Who knows the type surgery she had, but her time frame seems perfectly normal.

No, not really. It’s already been about 10 weeks, if surgery was in mid January, and another 5 until Easter. Most physicians want patients up and moving as quickly as possible as that helps with the healing process. Maybe light duties for 6-8 weeks. Unless there is something else going on besides an abdominal surgery, there is really no reason for her, a person in the public realm - like it or not, to all but disappear.

His dad never thought he’d be an effective monarch. Because he wasn’t trusted to be the king that the country & Commonwealth needed, he was brushed aside & humiliated as the 1st son. He never felt he could take the place of his mother. His father treated him as an inferior from an early age. It’s no wonder Charles is floundering, and even with the woman he thought would save him…he’s still a weak man. His sons suffered as children. Harry has shown how he feels about the monarchy & although William would like to escape the position… he’s stuck. Times have changed & with the media scrutiny, William would like to be anywhere except “in line for the throne”. We don’t blame him!
