@@Concentrate54 That is a simplistic way of looking at things. I can’t speak for all ex prisoners, but I am an ex prisoner and I can speak on my experience. Plenty of people verbally support you from the outside and shout “free my guy”all over social media and to their peers. But when it comes to picking up the phone to say hello or check in, most of these people are nowhere to be seen. It wasn’t a problem to me, I was lucky that I had family and a few close long term friends to support me, I got through my short sentence that way and didn’t bother getting worked up about certain man not picking up my calls. It is what it is. I’m not bitter, I just know who my close friends are and who I have in times of crisis. 🙏🏾
