This is basically just a sales video. All of the issues mentioned could easily be overcome by simply going to a lawyer and paying a few hundred euroes. I've visited dozens of flats in BCN and purchased some and never been scammed. As anywhere, inform yourself before investing but don't buy into demonizations that obliviously have commercial intent attached to them.

Hi Andre, we agree with you that everything needs to be checked thoroughly before buying a property. That is also the key reason why we have expert lawyers in our team. Different from many other countries the real estate sector, and its players, are poorly regulated. The risk for the buyer is that the agencies, who exclusively represent the seller, are not obliged to provide the buyer with all information about a property, neither are they liable in case you find out later that some of the information that they have told or given you would appear to be incorrect.
