I am very surprised by some of these things, especially tiny hotel room. It sounds horrible. It sounds more tough than I thought. You seem like a very nice person, very photogenic, with great personality, and you really deserved to win.

I'm from Europe and tiny hotel rooms are normal. I've been in a famous 5 star hotel room and was surprised how small it is. But everything was of the highest quality and very comfortable and meant for businessmen to stay there during conferences or something like that. Even while on vacation I've stayed in small hotel rooms so I don't see a problem. I guess Americans are used to big houses, which is uncommon to us.

@@100MilesEast I guess It's not how comfortable the room is. The problem is that you can't leave the room. When you are on vacation, you are not in your room for 24h hours a day, you go to your room to shower, sleep or rest a little. You are outside most of the time. But imagine you have to stay in that tiny room for days and not leave. After just couple of days I am sure it will start to feel really uncomfortable.

Loved this video, everything was super interesting and I had no idea the filming process was so long??? The whole hotel situation seems pretty inhumane though, obviously the conditions are better than a prison but forced self-isolation is so unnatural obviously people are going to be affected negatively :/, even during covid lockdowns people have the Internet for communication or something to entertain themselves? I know it’s similar for Drag Race with separating contestants, but banning reading and stuff seems so unnecessary and the only reasoning I can see is to stir people up / make them go a little crazy before the filming process started? So glad it seems like it didn’t affect you too much (afterwards at least) but I’m sure it could be somewhat damaging for some personalities :(. All that said though, you are like the only reality show contestant I remember and still follow, and it is solely because of how you handled yourself on the show, your whole attitude/personality is so admirable and obviously you are incredibly talented, the win was well deserved! Would love to keep seeing more of these kinds of videos as well as your usual content! Hope the remainder of 2020 treats you well :)

The most brutal thing on this list is no doors in the bathroom. Other things are rather reasonable or understandable. I don't know why people are surprised about book ban. It's actually very interesting to hear such open stories about what is happening there.

The hotel situation sounds exactly like how my dad was quarantined after being sent to NYC in the spring with his unit but instead of one week it was 2 and there was no TV but he did have his cell phone but the service was crummy and no wifi

I was on a reality show and they only spliced together something I said once and the viewers FREAKED lol. They knew immediately that it wasn't what I truly said. I was happy because it would've made me come across terribly. My experience was different because I wasn't on a competition show but the ice thing is so real. I was bad at that. I'm chatty af and I would just keep talking haha. I'm thankful I had a great experience but some days were tough. Having your life filmed definitely takes getting used to!

"A week" on tv is actually only 3 days in the filming process. So eliminations were done every 3 days, over 6 (real) weeks of filming total :)

I don't think the book thing is because of logos/names, I think it's because they don't want them to have any source of entertainment outside of talking to each other, so it forces interaction between the girls and also makes things more dramatic because then they'd be more on edge.
