The way Stampy handled the L for Lee situation was perfect. Instead of contributing to the controversy, instead of commenting on it, he thought about the children that were watching, and how they would feel, and came up with a story reason as to why Lee was leaving, so that the kids would never know what really happened, unless they saw it somewhere else. It worked, too, I didn't find out about the real reason until a few years later, when I found a video called "The minecraft pervert" or something like, that talked about the situation, and the thumbnail was L for Lee.

In fact, Lee actually lied straight to their faces, because they knew each other irl, and Lee lied and said none of it was true, but then finally admitted that it was. After that, they just couldn't have him in the lovely world anymore. He didn't leave on his own volition; he really didn't have a choice in the matter.

Stampy was one of my favorite Minecraft KZbinrs because he made really fun and engaging stories, such as with Hit the Target, the Ship Battle and summoning of the iBallisticSquid, the Submarine, the Rocket, Cheese Planet, and Aliens, Time Travel, like, he made such amazing videos I watched when I was kid to the present. It’s really sad that he ended the Lovely World Series, but at least he made one of the most amazing stories we all enjoyed, laughed, and loved. I do hope he’s doing well now.

I had a terrible step dad and was never allowed to be around my dad for a long time, so for most of my life i thought of stampy as my dad. one time in 6th grade i even lied about him being my "long lost father" [everyone knew i was lying, i look nothing like him lol]. he's played such a big role in my life and i will NEVER forget him, and will continue to support any projects he makes/helps with in the future. he's the best "dad" i could have ever had. he literally taught me how to be a good person, just by being such a kind and loving and fun person in his videos.

I am so happy that Stampy hasn’t become like so many others. He was one of the only things my brother and I shared and we bonded over our love for his channel. I never knew about the L for Lee situation because of how Stampy handled it and I’m happy looking back on that since I had so many things going on in my real life at the time so taking one thing that brought me happiness and destroying it would have really hurt. I’m so happy that he’s decided to move on to other things because I know that we can’t hold on to the past forever. I loved Stampy so much that my only memories as a toddler was of him. I didn't figure out KZbin had other KZbinrs really until 2014. I only watched Stampy and DanTDM since the other Minecraft KZbinrs were a bit creepy and I wanted to stay with the more chill Minecraft youtubers. Turns out I chose the right Minecraft KZbinrs to watch. ❤ Minecraft gave so much nostalgia and I was scared of watching any other games as a child. The patience, passion, commitment and dedication he had to his world is just truly incredible. Going on for a decade is a long haul. It’s not even as easy as most people think it really is. Most people create a survival world, stick to it for several months or maybe a few years, but then quit and never go back to bother with it ever again. Another crazy thing is if you go all the way back to watch his first ever lovely world video, in his beginning videos, he sounds dull and not upbeat at all. But then the more videos you watch as you go up in his series, he starts to sound more upbeat and happy overtime. I also just love how his intention was to not chase money or gain attention. I watched at least the lovely world videos every day for several years. To say he raised me is an understatement 😂 Edit: for anyone who doesn’t want to read the long reply I left explaining this more, it actually happened December 2nd 2013, not Christmas 2013. Just wanted to correct that part of this comment.

The info behind it (that I just learned a few years ago when I randomly remembered it and started looking into it) isn’t really known, but the believed idea is that he uploaded a video with IBalisticSquid that “violated community guidelines” resulting in the channel being deleted. It was all reversed after KZbin got floods of emails because 1) Stampy did not have any community strikes on his channel, and you need 3 before KZbin will delete the channel 2) Squid uploaded the exact same video, just from his game perspective instead and did not even receive a strike, let alone his channel being deleted. 3) while my mom wasn’t one of the people to email KZbin, tons of parents who had kids as devastated as I was did contact KZbin about it (along with many other KZbinrs making videos, posting about it on other social media, starting a petition, and #SaveStampy trending). After a few hours Google sent an email to him basically saying “we made a mistake, you’re not breaking any community guild lines and your channel is back” but he does/did now have a strike against him. I will say while writing this I tried to find the video I watched and got all of the information from again to make sure I was remembering everything correctly, but the only thing I can find is the video Stampy made about an hour after his channel was reinstated, and during that he mentions how he doesn’t know what he did that caused his channel to be deleted. I’m not sure if the video (which I do remember was made by someone other than Stampy) has been deleted in the years since I first watched it, or has since just been buried under the videos talking about him retiring. So the exact reason might not be correct, but how it was brought back was confirmed by Stampy in his video. Also as an edit to my original comment this actually all happened on December 2nd 2013, so I did remember the correct year but it wasn’t Christmas.

Take a minute to appreciate how two era's of the biggest creators on youtube handled a similar situation. Stampy and Mr Beast. Both creators recognize they hold a large influence on children who comprise most of their viewership. One of their closest partners in the business is exposed as a pdf file. Stampy eloquently protects is audience and cuts ties, while Mr Beast actively deceives, deflects and continued to harbor the person (and many more creeps) while knowingly creating content for millions of children. Two eras of titantic youtubers, two completely different values and morals. Creators nowadays take little regard in tailoring their content to protect their viewers.
