So you believe that Stroud is better then Allen?
@edwardflores71087 ай бұрын
Stroud is on a rookie deal meaning the Texans can spend big on building the roster. It gives them a leg up on contending while many of their best players are on cheap contracts.
@lambowolf7 ай бұрын
Few things... One- Stroud isn't a normal rookie QB. He won that locker room over well before the season began including the veterans. That whole team knew he was something special. Two- Ryans has built in just one season a culture that the whole league has noticed. He and the GM are really working well together on building and developing this team. Three- Case Keenum... Case has played with Diggs in both Minn and Buff. I'm sure the Texans leadership has asked him about how Diggs is in the locker room. Four- Diggs and Josh were BESTIES for two seasons with no issues. Diggs will come in initially on his best behavior. Five- The deal.... The Texas will take a cap hit for the first year but not really after that. If Diggs does go "Super Diva" then cut him and move on. I don't think Ryans or Stroud will get intimidated by Diggs' antics. I think this was one of those old Patriot moves of bringing a noted Free Agent and either use or cut him based on if they embrace what they do. GM Nick is from New England. I think at least for the first year, Diggs will perform well because he would want to show how much he can do without Josh while hoping that Josh struggles without a real WR.
@leo29hornsfan7 ай бұрын
Josh Allen isn’t gonna struggle without Diggs trust me last season when they went on a tear Diggs and Davis were really non factors and Allen still got it done. People don’t realize just how good he really is with his arm and his legs. Not taking anything away from Diggs because he is good but this diva shit needs to stop and I know that Ryan won’t put up with it. Diggs is just lucky that he went to a team that has an extremely talented QB on the rise and is just as good as Allen and Jackson and Mahomes. He’s not at there level yet but he’s pretty damn good.
@lambowolf7 ай бұрын
@@leo29hornsfan I agree with you. I never claimed that Josh Allen was going to struggle without Diggs. He has been on of my favorite QBs since he entered the league. I'm sure Diggs is HOPING he does now that he is gone. I was rooting for the Bills during the playoffs last year because I really freakin hate KC. However, I do think the Bills have left Allen with very limited options to throw too. The Houston GM has done great job over this off season bringing players for this window while Stroud' is on his rookie contract. I see a lot of similarity with CJ Stroud's rookie season to Baker Mayfield. Baker threw more TD's but CJ had way less int's but they are pretty close on most other metrics. Remember all the hype around the Browns when OBJ came in but the hype never quite translated into chemistry on the field. You dont get dumped by two different teams even with pro bowl stats unless you are the problem and not the solution. Nick Caserio has worked it well to restructure Diggs to a one year deal and make him a free agent after that. He has in essence incentivised Diggs to play for his next contract and given himself an escape hatch if he starts any bs behind the scenes.

In fact, through it all, Josh Allen not only NEVER responded in kind or trashed Diggs back, but he actually KEPT PUBLICLY PRAISING Diggs. I SO WISH the Bills could somehow win the Super Bowl this season -- and defeat the Texans in the playoffs en route. Then watch Diggs explode. Josh Allen never claimed to be a "perfect" QB, and is always his own harshest critic (a rarity these days). When you sign top free agents, you have to expect swagger and drama that comes with the territory. If you don't have the right leadership from your coach and quarterback, then you can expect to fail. The top quarterbacks and wide receivers in this league are black, so when you have a white quarterback, there is miscommunication. Diggs dealt with two white QBs. CJ is not just black but he's special. He has total control of that locker room and he's only beginning his 2nd year in the NFL. Diggs will not only follow in CJ's footsteps, but he has no other choice, thanks to Nick. If Diggs wants a big contract in free agency, he needs to perform on the field in 2024 without the drama. This is a win-win as the Texans did Diggs a solid paying out his guaranteed bonus for 2025 in 2024. Diggs can be the decoy drawing out CB1 and allowing Nico 150+ yards and allowing Tank 100+ yards.

Where y’all messed up is, CJ Stroud is a better LEADER than Josh Allen. CJ gonna make him respect him. CJ is the Alpha, Josh ain’t.

Go watch Josh Allen highlights 😂😂 Josh Allen will get in your face, push you around, jump over you, outrun you, stiff arm you, run through you and have you playing 20 yards off the ball with 2 safeties because you know that he will throw 80 yards downfield EASY! #ALPHA

@@iamtired9350 he’s probably a better overall player but CJ is the better leader in the locker room and he’s only in his second year.

They were so tired of him they set a record for dead cap money. I knew he was a problem when Minnesota was winning a playoff game and he was still on the sideline arguing about not getting the ball. And then he was celebrating in a game where they were getting blown out. When I saw those things that was it.

CJ Stroud along with their leader Demeco Ryan has something special going down in H Town. What I love most...CJ and many others embrace the Christ! About time...

He doesn't need to be the number 1 on that team. If he's on the field, they will have to account for him. I say Houston is better with him

Man all of this hate for Diggs is silly….. Josh was running a lot of times when Diggs was open….. Kelce was after his coach in his face screaming…. Wait his future Hall of Fame Head Coach face…. The game is passionate and mediocre just can’t understand excellence as Nick Saban said…. Plus living in Houston is a lot different than Buffalo…

Im so sick of these players just playing for themselves and their stats. Bad sportsmanship, bad roll models.
