Peanut butter is one that I've recently noticed has a good amount of added sugar, notably just in the cheaper brands. Which isn't too great when you're shopping on a budget

it does! Always check the ingredients, it should always just be natural peanuts and nothing else

Since i am fructoseintolerant, i had to learn lots about sugar and especially hidden sugar. For example its hard to find bread without it.

Thanks Miguel! Yeah that was the purpose of the video. Just to make sure everyone knew how much added sugar were in these products, that way you can make your own informed decision ✌️😊

I love acai bowls, but after watching one of your past videos I realized they have a lot of added sugars either through toppings or acai itself. Thank you for continuing to educate us!

Hi Manish! Yeah surprising right? But I don’t want you to think you can’t have them any more just make sure you get one without the high fructose corn syrup. Also you can check out my website which shows you how to make one at home!

I’ve struggled with finding protein powders that aren’t stacked full of added sugars! Can sometimes be a little overwhelming and hard to navigate the nutritional information, thanks for the rules!

Good video, you did your math wrong, 1 tsp = 4 grams means 6 tsp = 24 grams

Yea, the WHO recommends having no more than 25g of sugar a day

Normally the cereal boxes are the worse!! I’ve been taking care of my sugar intake for a while! No candies or dessert through the week, only on weekends (and moderated amounts). Crazy how sugar is one of the most popular yet most harmful ingredient for our health. Thanks for making people more aware with a video like this! Cheers!

Thanks so much Felipe! Yeah cereal is cheeky, there are so many brands positioning them as better for you, when they are not

Nice video, but as far as I know honey and maple syrup are essentially sugar too, therefore we shouldn't abuse of them or see them as a substitute for sugar either

With borderline type 2 true but it is a better alternative and honey has other properties that help the body. When I eat these sugars I make sure an egg 🥚 is near by...

One of the hardest items to find, peanut 🥜 butter without sugar. There is a dry powdered one I found that is pretty low in sugar that I'm using

@@ElizabethSollazzo-Daland It's actually not hard to find! Just watch that the only ingredient is peanuts (could be raw or roasted) :) In my experience, you can find 100% peanut butter pretty much everywhere
