I have seen comments and DM's that are outlandishly untrue, so I had to address the situation. I haven't watched anyone else's videos or reactions, though I know they're out there. This is truly my perspective on what happened and I hope we can move forward from this. Basketball is basketball and should never resort to violence.

I know the shit talking and “aggressive” basketball is entertaining, but it’s really only entertaining if everyone involved wants it to be that way. AJ and his guys obviously weren’t mouthing off like Chris and his guys do, Chris was looking for a confrontation from the rip. And I’m a fan of Chris, but he definitely let his ego get the best of him. Y’all were there first, he doesn’t have a right to be the only allowed to film. You should have said that no one invited HIM. I personally like watching the aggressive stuff, but as far as playing, I don’t like it. That’s what football is for and why I loved football. But when it came to basketball, main reason I stopped playing was the hostility on courts. I don’t have time to relive the highschool days, AND it’s not worth it.

Damn I felt sorry for you AJ, that was bad combination of people. First the classic bully who after slapping you, pulling you, grabbing your hat and harassing you for so long, gets offended because you pulled his jacket. And then the enforcer comes in to set the tone, but runs like hell when you decide to fight back. Just a fucked up day man, get over it and keep having fun. I feel the pandemic has really played with peoples minds, because I see a lot of dumb anger around me nowadays and it sucks. AJ was there first though. He wasn't there because of Chris. AJ was also asked if he wanted to play and when AJ said he was gonna record, then its either play with AJ but with his cameras or just tell them not to play. He chose to still play with AJ which means AJ was gonna record. The fact that it wasn't a formal meetup and he just ran into Chris means he doesn't know enough about Chris to trust him uploading one sided content. That's probably why he wanted to record. He can't just trust a youtuber he's only barley heard of. AJ isn't a clout chaser he uploads the content he feels like uploading. You can see that from his other surfing videos which in my opinion explains he was recording, in case a twisted youtube video was uploaded. I also think when he said I've been doing this for too long probably means that he knows to record whenever there is no formal meetup because people sometimes upload videos making others look bad with editing.

I very loosely follow all these basketball you tubers, but I’ve seen nothing but positivity from AJ in not only his videos but others that he happened to be in. You could tell from the beginning whoever this other guy is…that he’s that type of dude with an ego. You can also tell AJ didn’t really want to play(idk if it was fatigue or the injury) Idk if that shirt grab on him was an accident or intentional but it didn’t warrant getting hit in the face. The grab on hesi literally looks like something I see players do all the time so…Anyways overall anyone with common sense shouldn’t be upset with AJ for anything that happened post getting hit in the face. Seriously who wouldn’t react that way or worse. Keep your head up AJ, real ones know who you are.

@Eric Jones I’d reco watching Chris Staples video. I thought the same thing today because of AJ’s facial expression but in Chris’s video you can see he’s clearly off balance before being pushed again and is grabbing on to stay standing. He may have still pulled harder than necessary but this was all after being shoved repeatedly.

@@vitaboys1220 I said that based on reading body language. First time back playing from an injury, was already playing for a while prior. And he was the one approached by another creator… his willingness to play is up for debate but I just don’t think he was super in it. He wasn’t even there for that, just being opportunistic. And it seemed like he regret it as soon as Chris starting exploding with his ego. I don’t think Chris is a bad guy but he’s clearly the type of person who can overreact from time to time. Both could be wrong here but AJ doesn’t seem like the type of person to escalate a situation and Chris really does…

@@nickdel5754 it's deadass both sides. ChrisWhite asked staples and aj to run 5's but then accused them of content stealing. but then again, Staples said he wasn't gonna post anything and proceeded to post it still and you can clearly tell that that vid was the most viewed video staples has had in a while. Aj was already filming before hand so for chriswhite to start accusing him of content stealing even after asking them to run 5's was completely in the wrong. back to the main topic at hand, AJ is definitely not a humble person. he's a smug piece of shit that thinks he can hide his huge ego with his false, fake facade of "spreading" good vibes and positivity.

@@nickdel5754 If you looks back at AJ’s KZbin channel, you’ll notice he hasn’t changed his humble and friendly attitude in his videos, he has always stayed genuine. CHSWHT on the other hand is the complete opposite, he looks for people to bully and feed his ego and somehow look like the bigger stronger player. But I’m reality he is soft and weak enough to show his emotions and anger like a child. He doesn’t have much respect for his opponents including AJ. This occurs in all of his videos. I’m not saying AJ wasn’t in the wrong, I’m not trying to start an argument about the situation, I’m just stating facts.

When you roll the clip of chriswht asking to run 5s you make it seem like he asked y’all to turn off the cameras before that but I mean yes Chriswht asked to run 5’s but clearly he didn’t necessarily seem to notice the cameras until he did start to ask respectfully to turn it off and even then he asked y’all before the 5’s “what y’all tryna do then” hence talking about the cameras and playing etc, so it’s not like he’s lying about all that, and when you went on to say “no i’ve been doing this longer then all these guys” 7:08 it just seems like your discrediting what he’s tryna do for his “event” I mean even Chris Staples said that he’d just record just to have it in the files, and so it may have been easier for you AJ to compromise one video as youve said youve been to venice beach many times before, so you can clearly go again, but same for Chriswht(he can also visit venice beach again) but as chriswht was stating like he had set up his event there, and even if you didn’t know about it beforehand when he got there he was obviously telling y’all all about it, but anyways as for the hard screen i do believe it was a little unnecessary for the shove he was giving especially since he’s alr has size to him, but it didn’t seem like you were falling down that hard, but his reaction to slap you was uncalled for and gladly you reacted in the right by not fighting and acknowledging that there was kids around so props to you bc a lot of people don’t have the self control, but Chriswht was in the wrong there and it seems as if you could’ve compromised and acknowledged that he was just tryna get all his clout from his video and not get it posted from everywhere else, then it could’ve been settled way before it got there, but all in all glad your staying up AJ stay safe keep promoting positivity this whole youtube community needs it🤷🏽‍♂️❤️

Honestly,I don’t understand why people want to be violent or disrespectful.Real game speaks for itself. If you want to be flashy get to the level of The professor if not just let your game speak itself like AJs.Most hoopers know playing with and against a hooper who dribbles for so long hoping for a tough and ‘cool’ shot is lame.A skilled and respectful game is a fun game A good environment with no toxic people bring out the best in people. Not this game which honestly should have ended in the middle when things where not going well. But I guess it’s business not basketball It’s not about disrespecting content. It’s about respecting and trusting other people.
