I don't know if this is something you have done or not, but with this latest Flashback with Kuma, it is almost solidifying how if you are a main character, you are going to have a rather dark backstory to go with it. Not sure if it might be worthwhile to do a "Top 10 Most Tragic Backstories in One Piece" video, but I feel like Kuma's probably could have cracked that it. Maybe. We need to see if anything happens during this backstory that could make things go from bad to worse for him.

Honestly it is extremely likely that the chests that served as the prizes for the Celestial Dragons “native hunting festival" were none other than mythical zoans and other rare devil fruits. Two of which are most likely where Kaido and Marco got their mythical zoan fruits. For Kaido, Big Mom must’ve been the one to snag the Uo Uo no Mi, Model: Seiryu as the favor she did for Kaido and reminded him when she was demanding Luffy be her’s to kill. Meanwhile it’s also possible Whitebeard took the phoenix fruit to give to Marco later on(or if he was actually a member of the Rocks Pirates too before sticking with Whitebeard when the Rocks crew split up) or this being where Whitebeard first got his Gura Gura no mi fruit as apart of the prizes he stole from his crew’s attack on God Valley. With Kuma’s fruit as Plot Armor said being also likely, but while some say Luffy’s fruit is here I doubt it since those events took long after “God Valley” occurred. But instead Shanks was none other than one of the prizes due to some unique circumstances such as a celestial dragon having a “god knight blood" under their command once they grow up. Which admittedly is 50/50 but considering how twisted these Celestial Dragons are ain’t exactly impossible either.

In one panel it's heavily implied (based on very similar real world events), that a mother had to cannibalise one of her children, so her other children wouldn't die of starvation. That’s true. When I seen that this “tournament” / “Hunting Contest” took place every *3 years* , and remembering that we are between 2-3 years in the time in the story, I’m wondering if there’s going to be a next Hunting Tournament at one of the next unaffiliated World Government nations. Which would be: Alabasta, Wano, Centaurea, Baltigo, Sphinx Island, Skypeia, etc. The Wano one is interesting because Wano started closing it’s boarders after it was previously open the whole world. Which I’m wondering if they didn’t want the chance of the government trying to take over their land/hunting them. Amazing chapter either way!

Ginny is NOT Luffy's mother, and big brother Iva is the key! 2 huge nails from 2 statements from 1 scene kills Ginny's candidacy dead. First in impel down when Ivankov was talking to luffy about dragon and Luffy said he was Dragon's son Ivankov was shocked and said it couldnt be true that Dragon did NOT have kids aka he didn't know.
