I was so pumped when you announced the tournament...was a bit concerned when you announced and said it's a short course and some holes might be changed and that it might take place over 14 holes... did comment at the time that it should be over 18 holes to make it legit. After that I was more concerned about who will be playing and who will team up. Then I saw on a Mr Short Game vid that the tournament will take place at a par 3 course and I actually looked at the course's web site...and yes it will take place on not a short course, but on a 18 hole par 3 course where some par 3's will be changed to par 4's, and only played over 14 holes1 That's not a course or format for a decent golf tournament when you get some of the best golf content makers on KZbin...should be a normal par 72 18-hole golf course where the best golf on the day will win, not a par 3 course where the luckiest or best short game shots of the day will win. So for me it's a let down for me...After this tournament I would have liked to know if I' right to say Luke and Sean played better golf than the Bryan Bros...but with the format of the tournament, it will just be who was the luckiest or who has the best short game...and worse yet, played at night...just saying

I understand where Kendrick is coming from in thinking maybe the short course could even it out, but when you think about the pure stats in comparing amateur golfers and pro golfers, its all about dispersion and proximity to the pin. More often than not, pros are closer to the pin, and have less dispersion in their shots. The better golfers are gonna score better on par 3s on average. It should be a fun watch though.
