Sounds like something i dealt with for about 6 months from end of 2022 through the spring on 2023. If you don't already have one go to see an EP, an electrophysiologist, it's a heart doctor that specializes in the electric rhythm of the heart, honestly had no idea doctors like that existed till i was at my worst dealing with this in the hospital. I was having episodes multiple times a day and it was draining the life out of me, was scared to do anything really. i had two cardiac ablation surgeries over those 6 months and it changed my life, very safe and normal procedure and is the best way to get an idea of what's going on with the electric rhythm of your heart and if that's the issue. Sadly my issue stems more from the nodes on my heart not working properly, so to really fix it i'd need to have a procedure that has a high percentage of me needing a pacemaker if it doesn't go in my favor and at 26 years old, just doesn't make sense. But staying off caffeine, limiting how much sugar i take in, and being on medicine that controls it but doesn't mess with my energy level has made a worlds difference, i still deal with little blips but it's much more manageable and the biggest thing for me, i know why it's happening. The uncertainty during those 6 months was the hardest part to get through, just know if you're dealing with something similar it's not gonna kill you and you can fight through it, but it's good to really get to the root of the issues so you can move forward with out any uncertainty. You got it G!

Never comment and very much doubt you'll even see this comment Garrett but i had bad anxiety and stress that led to irregular heartbeat after i left the Army. Good days and bad days but more often bad days, and anything would set it off, and was hard to shake off... Started golf about 5 years ago and when i started playing competitions ect anxiety would mess game up. I tried everything from CBD oil to therapy, nothing helped it really until i came across Box Breathing exercises... 4 seconds inhale, 4 seconds hold, 4 seconds exhale, 4 seconds hold... Rinse and Repeat, do this every morning for 5-10 mins and before bed for 5-10 mins, and any time you feel like you're becoming anxious .... This has honestly changed my life. All the best.

Similar to other people in the comments I am literally going through this as we speak. I’m 29 years old, very fit and healthy and It started around 5 months ago when I collapsed for absolutely no reason. Since then, I get lightheaded whenever I get up or I’m bent down for a long period, also the anxiety and stress is certainly a trigger. Just a few days ago after several tests I have been told it could be something called Vasovagal Syncope. I have been told to cut out caffeine and drink as much water as possible which seems to be helping a lot. Still awaiting more tests. I’d be really keen to hear about your diagnosis as you move forward with docs. Really cool for you to talk about something like that when you have such a big platform to share. In 2018 I was having a similar experience, racing heart and lightheadedness. I had to wear an external heart monitor for a month and found out I have Ventricular Tachycardia. ICD implant and meds and it seems to be under control. My doctor didn't think it was anything major, told me the same to get more sleep and avoid stress. The only reason they caught mine was I had to be cleared by a cardiologist for a surgery for a totally unrelated thing. Heart issues can range from very minor to extremely deadly. I'm not a doctor so I won't give an opinion. I just hope your doctors can get it figured out. Much love and can't wait to see you in a qualifier one day.

if you're talking about the myrtle beach event, get over it. they're not handing the sponsor exemption spot to anyone, they're making someone earn it. there are no "thieves"

Dude I had that exact heart issue for 15 years and I just got an ablation done and have been 100% since then. I had a “Supraventricular tachycardia of the intranodal reentry type” my heart would randomly jump out of rhythm and beat super fast until I would feel like passing out and then randomly jump back into rhythm. At first doctors thought it was wolf Parkinson’s white syndrome but ultimately decided it was an auxiliary pathway causing re entry near the node. That would be crazy if it was that exact same thing! Hope this helps man!

Had a similar experience when I was eating alot of processed meats like hot dogs. Felt like my heart would skip beats and change and high nerves it trigger almost like a panic attack where I felt like I couldn't breathe cause my heart was pumping erratically. Don't know if this helps but once I stopped eating the high nitrate meats I've been 100% better... Even drink caffeine all day and no problems

Crazy to see all the comments of people with similar heart issues. I have had 2 episodes of a fib. Luckily went back to normal rhythm on its own. Wouldn't wish it on anyone but somehow comforting im not the only young guy dealing with it. Take care GM get it under control and work your way to the show.

Hey garret, I know you’re probably flying into the Bay Area for pebble and quail, but about 2.5 hours south, there’s some really good courses. Monarch dunes has an insane challenge course of par 3s, you guys can definitely get a hole in 1.

We need all the BDS content. It's probably still a little awkward or w/e too, but I really loved seeing Grant and Tig back on the channels again. Maybe a semi-annual match play round with them?

Idk if Garrett will see this but I dealt with what seems like a similar heart issue (for me it was random bradycardia and PVC's). My physical therapist had me start cervical spine exercises because he thinks my vagus nerve was being compressed from a past car wreck coupled with years of computer work. Within a few days of doing those exercises my heart issues were resolved.

Take care of your health Garrett. As someone who has struggled with hypertension when younger there are solutions and ways forward and coping strategies. Don't worry if it was serious they would have spotted it already.

Set something up with the Bryan Bros on their course in South Carolina where you guys allow fans to come out and watch. Having spectators might get you in that tournament mindset. Added bonus for myself, I live in SC and would definitely come out and watch
