I have had 7 of these for over a year now in the field, 24/7/365. The original batteries are near replacement, and I am starting to do videos. I'll start using rechargeable or long-lasting 12v. I really like the quality photos. Enjoy your channel. Thank you.

I have a couple of the Meidase P60s, and a couple of the Gardepro E5s, basically the same camera. I turn off the side sensors and put on medium for sensitivity. Hook up a solar panel and had it out for a year taking videos and still 100% batter life. Best camera I have had for less than $50

Can you tell me how to turn off the flashing blue light when using the motion sensor
@WoodShopby2DumbAsses3 ай бұрын
Chris I have not noticed a flashing blue light. If I were to take a stab in the dark my guess would be the following: 1.) Light blinks when the Start button is pressed and the camera is counting down to activation. 2.) There is a setting in the menu that allows you test your placement of the camera and whether the camera can detect motion. While in this "test" mode when the camera detects motion the Red light will flash. Can you take another swing at what you are asking?

@@WoodShopby2DumbAsses thank you for getting back to me, many thanks, and thanks for the podcast. My sister is using my camera for a special reason. They noticed that while her husband walked past at night, to do a test; the blue light remained flashing. We think this happened because the app was open on the phone at the time. Because, when the camera was re- placed, another time the light stayed off. All the best

@@chrisbarry6217 I have not noticed a blinking light once the camera has been put into "start" mode. It sounds like you have it fixed with a replacement camera. Thank you for your viewership and comments and keep us in the loop if the problem comes back or you resolve it.

There’s a couple reviews mentioning water inside the camera after one rain event. Did you have the camera in the rain much? Was it protected in some way?
@midwesthuntingoutdoors10 ай бұрын
Brian I have had 2 cameras strapped to trees for 5 months now with zero water issues. It has been dry in Southern Iowa however they have definitely been exposed to rain and snow.

Is there anyway to view the pictures or video by thumb nail? Instead of just viewing the entire SD card?
@midwesthuntingoutdoors8 ай бұрын
Belindacain7469 you can view the video or pics on the camera by following these instructions on page 18 in the manual. www.meidase.com/instruction-manual/ or you can remove the SD card and place it in your PC and view using the file manager function. I remove the SD card and swap it out for a new one and then move it to my PC for easier browsing and viewing, however a lot of different ways to skin that cat. If this doesn't answer your question send us an email at midwesthuntingandoutdoors@gmail.com and I will take another swing
