I got one for myself and it's really not that bad as other said. The grip is good, sound is good and the performance is getting better & better with new BIOS & driver

the Claw looks good! I've been following it from launch but it looks like performance is getting better and better. i remember SD and the Ally had terrible reviews at launch, but the pace at which Intel is releasing updates gives me a good feeling, might have to cop.

MSI did very well on the overall design, battery life, speaker etc., just hope intel get better on its solution and update the driver ASAP.

They ripped off the design from the Ally and even the speakers are basically the same. 1 hour give or take battery is not good. The steam deck oled is the standard for pc handhelds. The msi claw is a joke and the price of it even more so. Raise your standards.

@@V1CT1MIZED they did steal the design from the ally however that is nothing new when it comes to electronics, companies steal from each other all the time, in terms of being the pc handheld standard i think the steam deck would have been great had it been released around the time ps4 was, however now and going forward it will definitely struggle, am sure the steam deck 2 hardware will be great, when it comes to battery life i dont think its any different from a laptop, i do wish it could be longer but were just not at that point i guess, the oled does get good battery life but take a look at the quality of the triple A games on it vs the quality of triple A games on lets say the Ally, the ally will give you a much better quality triple A game but the battery is going to fall pretty fast , personally i would be okay with a 2 hour battery before walking away and taking a break

Need advice.. I'm a noob to the pc world, but I'm keen on getting a handheld. The claw has gotten my attention, as well as the other competitors. Any guidance in my thought process would muchly be appreciated

Can you over clock the device? maybe it just needs more juice? These things are coming down in price and make a super retro handheld.. Hopefully Valve will release drivers for Steam OS for it too.

@@lilbenate660 I have to say it's running smooth , I update to 5445 driver and play NBA 2K24 , Fallout 4 , F1 23 , Diablo 4 all have FPS over 100

Windows based handheld pc. They miss the whole point (that the Deck did correctly). The ability to play with extremely low power (3W), and thus, long battery life. They're gimped hard from the get go.

MSI claw, the worst handheld because Intel Arc. Edit: Highest power consumption and not all games run on Windows.
