I frigin hate that the writers ONCE AGAIN used Scarlet Witch to bring grief to mutants. Billy has had enough with Wanda's sh!t here. Billy is angry. Hopefully, THIS is whats gonna repair the rift between the Kree Skrull Empire and SWORD; Billy is done defending his moms honor. Its sad, but I blame sh!t writing. They have been doing this for more than a shting decade, writing Wanda as an antagonist without her being EVIL. Scarlet Witch ALREADY ACCEPTED her horrible mistakes in her very own comics, but what, WTF, was her own shting series not cannon anymore! ??? gad dangit.

I've felt like X-Factors "investigation" into Wanda's murder was shoddy from jump, so it didn't surprise me that there could be mystical elements to her attack (seriously, why didn't any of them think of that? They even comment that that they found it weird that someone of her powers was taken down so easily) Also, they jumped right to Magneto being the culprit based on evidence that his powers were used and didn't consider at all that other mutants of similar power sets could have done it. They didn't even consider Polaris a suspect and let her LEAD THE CHARGE to go after Magneto.

No one was around Magneto either, and yet they quickly jumped to tagging him as the culprit based on their investigation that a mutant with the ability to manipulate metal did this to Wanda. Magneto is not the only mutants that can do this. If anything, Not only is there enough reason to think Polaris had involvement (being Magneto's daughter, being Polaris's "sister", having the same power set as the person who committed the crime), she should have been removed from the investigation and told she is also a suspect).

Yeah, Trial of Magneto is kinda disappointing when talking about Wanda. Like I know comics love to ignore previous storylines, but ToM basically ignores the 2016 Scarlet Witch series which did a better job at addressing Wanda's guilt and trauma. The only thing ToM is doing is just reuniting Magneto and Wanda.

Issue #4 was good and at the end of issue by how everybody was looking at her, I wouldn't be surprised if Emma was the one who did it. It was good seeing Polaris, Wolverine, Kurt, Cyclops, Jean, Rachel helping Magneto, the twins, and Avengers protecting Wanda from the others

I think it's Doom, but he's not really in this mini. Quicksilver would be ridiculously out of character. If this mini doesn't produce an actual change for Wanda, like making her a mutant again, then it was a total waste of time. The story with her accepting herself and so on and so on has been done.

This series has been very disappointing. Objectively one of the weakest title from the new Hickman era, even worst than Fallen Angels. Messy, rushed, baity title, dragged way too long without any pay off, not really a trial but not about Wanda enough either. Did not live up to the hype. Can't believe Leah left X Factor for this.

Still gonna say, while mutant kind still has a right to be mad at Wanda, they are pointing their anger at the wrong person. It should be Quicksilver who gets their anger because it was him, who took his sister at a moment when she was mentally unstable, and made her do House of X, where after she then decimated everyone. It's one thing to hate Wanda for what she did, I get it, but it still boggles my mind, that the people who receive powers out of the blue one day and usually it comes with a lot of issues an persecution, will condem someone like Wanda. Her powers were used by someone else when she was at her most vulnerable. They're all pointing their fingers at the wrong person.

It could be Toad. Mortimer Toynbee was obsessed with Wanda for years. He's also really resentful of how often his, not inconsiderable intellect is dismissed. My theory is Toad through technological means or through bribing someone like Mesmero, used mind control to manipulate another entity (mutant or otherwise) to kill Wanda. Maybe after her breakdowns he figured she might be amenable to his romantic overtures and she still rejected him and it made him snap? Regardless, while I don't think he would do the hands on dirty work, I wouldn't be surprised if he was the ultimate guilty party.

If Polaris was the one, that would mean she’ll be put into jail, and possibly be put into preparing for the one-woman jailbreak story that Leah was previously planning for one of the cancelled X-Factor issues.

I don’t think Agatha can be blamed for this, but in the future, I wouldn’t be too surprised to see Iron Man ultimately blame Agatha for Wanda’s breakdown that destroyed Avengers Manor in “Avengers: Dissembled”. I mean, he may not remember it, but Tony Stark has a history of being manipulated to hurt his teammates, so he might have a lot more empathy towards her post “Children get absorbed into a demonic warlocks hands” mindwipe breakdown.

Man talk about BAD storytelling... This is like two series in one. First part we had a "bad ass" Magneto suddenly "villainized" again, attacking his own daughter and even Charles for seemingly no reason (ok, he had lost his daughter, but did he forget who she was?) Then second part we have "The Redemption of the Scarlet Witch", which is apparently not even related to the first part of the story. Ok, we have here Northstar saying he will go on with his "investigation"...about what? Damn woman isn't even really "dead" lol. It's like they are just trying to justify X-Factor presence in the story! And to make things worse, there comes the "magic" shit again. You know: Mojoverse type situation. Everything can happen all of a suddenly and there's no need for any coherent explanation. I hate this magic shit when it's all over the place like in this series. I loved Wanda when her powers were understandable. Now she's the quintessential "deus ex machina" character. At least I hope they will make her a permanent Avenger again!
