Merlin banished Morgan Le Fay to the Dark Dimension, since he was the sorcerer supreme of the 12th Century. Using the Staff of Avalon, a staff with a green gem in the center. The green gem in Authorian Legend is known as “The Heart of Avalon”, but in this case of the MCU lore, it’s the Time Stone. Similarly, the Heart of Avalon has time manipulating abilities, not on the same level as the Time Stone, but close enough. This is how Authorian Legends relate to the MCU, with Morgan Le Fay, Merlin, and King Author.

The reason he attempted to kill Joe & Lucy Bauer was because in their paranoia of Eli temptation to take the book, Joe hired the Fifth Street Locos to kill Eli, resulting them mistaking his nephew Robbie for his uncle. Eli betrayed them, because when he heard the news of Robbie's death (unknown to him) and Gabe's paralysis, he retaliated by attempted to murder them and allowed his his rage to fuel his obsession with the Darkhold.

@@probot6515 it has been contradicted. In season 6 Piper references a time where male piper(always forget his name) got super drunk in 2018. That means AoS season 6 takes place after 2018. 2018 is the year of the blip. They never mention half of all life suddenly disappearing into dust in the show. So maybe it's an alternate timeline where instead of the blip all the Agents of Shield stuff happened. They did do a bunch of time travel shenanigans in season 5 so I think altered timeline is the best fan theory for canonocity. Or piper doesn't know years 🤷‍♂️

The only times they're not is the 2091 scenes in S5 and the Alternate Timeline throughout S7. It's like you don't understand. Even ignoring the fact Kevin Feige confirmed it was canon, the fact that Daredevil is undeniably canon makes Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. canon because all Marvel Television shows are interconnected. A Judas Bullet from Luke Cage literally shows up! Okay, let's break it down. Netflix connects to Cloak & Dagger connects to Runaways connects to Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

The final scenes of S5 take place directly before the snap. If Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. S6-7 were not in the main timeline, the Earth would be destroyed in 2018. There is no work around. In Avengers: Endgame, we see that society functions after the snap. People still go to restaurants, have jobs, and play video games. In WandaVision, we see hospitals are operational. Captain America says that people have moved on from the snap. We can see that only a few people are still going to group therapy. Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. S7 was intended to have a reference to the snap, with it being explained that the Quantum Realm could theoretically allow someone to survive the snap. Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. S6 didn't see much from the civilian point of view, and S.H.I.E.L.D. were preoccupied dealing with Sarge, Izel and the Shrike invasion. It is more unlikely that most of Peter's classmates died from the snap, as well as the original Avengers surviving the snap while the newer movie characters don't, than the cast of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. surviving, but those happened as well. It being unlikely doesn't make it impossible. It's simply plot convenience. We only see a very small amount of these characters' lives on screen. Who's to say they don't reference the snap constantly between scenes? They might be referencing it every episode and we just didn't see it.

Coulson and Mack are suppose to be the director of SHIELD at one point but in the movies we always see Hill and Fury as if they are the leaders of the org. Lady Sif was suppose to tell Thor about Coulson, she disappeared from the movies. The only instance were it appears that the movies take the show into account is Age of Ultron with the Hellicarrier thing, but Fury never directly mention Coulson so they can always say he got it from another person/org. The show started to diverge more and more from the MCU since S3

It's interesting but how Marvel denies non Disney+ shows being canon. Yet the Dark Dimension and Darkhold connect the continues of everything back to the movies. Agent Carter, AoS, Cloak & Dagger, and Runaways deal with the Dark Dimension. The only show that doesn't connect is Helstrom.

My problem with saying the Darkhold in AofS is the same as the one in MCU is that the books don't appear to follow the same rules. People can say that the cover changed and that's what makes it different but I think the real problem is that the content of the book is different. In AofS they gave the book the ability to show it's info in the prime language of the reader but the one in Wandavision doesn't look like it has te ability cause when Agatha is flipping the pages you only see symbols from a different language than english (not the abc alfabet) and big pictures. Talking about pictures, the AofS DH had images but primarily showed text, the Wandavision one showed drawings that cover a good part of the page. In the inside looks like 2 different books Also there's the fact that Agatha was attacked by her coven cause she learnt magic she wasn't suppose to, if that magic was from the Darkhold, in theory she has it since 1600 contradicting AofS timeline. Also the thing about Morgana findiing the DH after GR left in DD was from an interview or something? Cause I remember the show acting as if she always had the book and wasn't recent, but maybe I'm remembering that bad

It is definitely a retcon in design and functionality. It is the case where you have to picture that the AoS book always looked like the one in WV. Or they are two different books (both copies of the Wundagore Mountain transcripts). But we have an official book called Guidebook to the Marvel Cinematic Universe: Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. S4 and it established that Darkhold as the MCU one.

Nope, it's a book of dark magic it doesn't really "amplify" powers but rather gives access to dark and forbidden witchcraft that is likely considered occult. For example Aida didn't have any magical power prior to reading the book but she still managed to use it's magic to give herself a human vessal.

@@Akechi_The_Phantom_Detective the darkhold actually brings out latent power to its maximum potential but no, it does not amplify magic and the reason for it bringing out the latent power to the maximum potentual is specifically because once you fall to its corruption it instructs you to draw out your full power and dark magic is by its very nature less restrained compared to other magics which is why Agatha's "purple" was so powerful even before sucking up the magics of other witches. in a nutshell it shows you how to unlock your full potential and teaches magics that by nature cannot be restrained or limited because Kathan didn't want to teach magic through the darkhold magics that could be restrained or limited

@@Akechi_The_Phantom_Detective Agents of Shield are not canon sadly however it revealed that Agatha was too powerful and too much a risk for her motther's coven and it showed her how to absorb magic (incidentally absorbing magic was originally Doctor Strange's unique ability in the comics, he could absorb someone's magic or absorb and redirect their magic against the caster though he was not able to do this on divine entities like Dormammu or Mephisto

There's one thing that's really important to keep in mind: Agents of S.H.I.EL.D is not canon. So that means that the laser printed physics book and the dark magic book are not the same Darkhold.

​@@Akechi_The_Phantom_Detective that doesn't make any sense, the 6th and 7th season of AoS is very clearly in the same canon as the first 5 seasons, also Age of Ultron is the only project that connects to AoS, but the connection is vague so it could easily be disconnected from the show if Feige wanted it, every other connection is one way AoS referencing the movies, but considering Feige hated the Marvel Television side of the MCU, I think he'll most likely want to separate the shows from the MCU, especially after introducing the Multiverse and variants, it means he can pick and choose certain moments to be canon to keep in the lore while telling stories and introducing characters he wouldn't be able to if they were canon

@@Akechi_The_Phantom_Detective I keep AoS in my personal canon because i like the show so much but the Age of Ultron is really not the slam dunk I see so many people trying to use it as. If Agents of Shield had decided not to set up Theta protocol, that doesn't mean the helicarrier would have been cut from Age of Ultron. The writers of AoS said Joss was writing Age of Ultron when Season 1 of AoS was in production; they just took the chance to integrate and ran with it. This is the easiest way to put it: The helicarrier does NOT appear in Age of Ultron because it was set up in Agents of Shield. The helicarrier is set up in Agents of Shield BECAUSE it appears in Age of Ultron.

@@anthonysmurthwaite6258 He's mixing up canon and on the timeline. Season 7 of AoS establishes that, at some point, the team went off what is now known as the Sacred Timeline. While Season 7 ends with them returning to that timeline, I still don't know if I believe that considering, that time, they use the same method as in Endgame. So it's up in the air. Point is, when people bring up AoS Seasons 6 and 7 not being 'canon', it's because they don't occur on the sacred timeline
